we had a day of heavy rain

Fine Hotel, very good value for money. I am a middle aged man who like to have decent accommodation but do not wish to spend too much. At Anchalee Inn I found exactly what I was looking for: a nice hotel, clean, comfortable, with a wide set of facilities. The rooms are just fine, without too many useless things meant just to raise their price. The management is friendly and helpfull. The location is just right, near the quieter side of the beach, far enough from the night life and day traffic mess. I liked too the restaurant, where a wide variety of food is served. I ate at first Thai every day (best in town) and later something which reminded me my home's diet (steaks, burgers, etc). The Carbonara spaghetti is very nice. And as I am an old man (not too old, mind it) I liked too thye semi-classic style of the rooms and lobby.

Staff are very friendly and polite, good hotel location, peaceful and quiet.

The swimming pool is pretty small as opposed to the pictures in the internet.

A good hotel for a short holliday. The hotel is in an excellent location, walking distance to Patong Beach so you do not need to pay for tuk tuk's. The staff is very helpful and help with anything that you may need. The rooms are a little bare but if your just using it to sleep in then there really is no problem. There is also a cute little balcony which is nice for relaxing outside without leaving the room.
