Nice hotel and fairly central

Nice hotel and it wasn't too expensive, they are currently upgrading some of the rooms. It's close enough to be central but far enough away to keep it quiet. Only about a 5-10min walk to the top of Bangla Rd and the shopping center.

Nice room, friendly staff, weird location

I stayed for one night waiting to get on a liveaboard. The price was right at about - pool is small - not a lot of room for seats. I'm sure if you have a pool room, that's coo, I did not. It's very clean, room was spacious and very nice. Staff was very friendly. I thought the location was inconvenient if you are looking to go to the beach or out on the town - it's not off the main strip - I wouldn't stay here again if I was planning to spend time in Patong. They do have shuttles to take you to the beach and the shopping mall - which is nice.

The hotel was great but it had a poo smell coming from the in room air conditioning when it was on. Got a room change but by the end of the night same-thing again.

I chose this hotel based on it's location and it's fine being on a quiet Soi, not too far from the shopping and nightlife. There is a lot of building going on in the area and if you're looking for views, look elsewhere.
The hotel is advertised as four-star but there's no way this is the case. Nevertheless the room was spacious, clean and reasonably well appointed. The bathroom (Deluxe Room) was advertised as having both a bath and a shower, but the latter was simply a shower head attached to the bath with nowhere to hang it from.
There was virtually no hanging or drawer space in the small closet and nowhere to hang up towels or bath robes.
Staff were polite and efficient and addressed my problem with the room safe promptly.
I missed breakfast on all but the last day and was disappointed with the poor choices in terms of quality. (4-Star Hotels in Thailand are supposed to have decent breakfasts).

it's a few minutes walk to Junceylon shopping mall and 10 minutes to Patong main beach area
