the "hotel" is really an annex... 10-12 condominiums (invested by individuals and re-rented out by the hotel/condo company)... the large building in the photos is mainly condos... long term owners with a board of directors...
breakfast is good, in the main building, the pool is nice... but the rooms usually given to "hotel guests" have no view at all and are in the new annex, so clean and new, but you have to walk across to the main building... no views, city or anything.. just some electric wires, if you enjoy that view.
lots of french and australians, few / less russians than other places which is good... a bit older crowd since a long stay ownership crowd... front desk is not friendly , a bit rough around the edges.. overall a good location and quieter than the main strips along patong central.
Shopping Tip:
great mall, down main road, only about 1 km away.. long walk or short taxi.

We book this hotel, paying 40+% more ($ for 2 rooms 3 days) than previous hotel (Swissotel Resort - Phuket, $447.54 2 suites 3 days),
We expect to have a room quality at least on a par with Swissotel, it is a big disappointment.
They give us a room in a new small building, the windows facing a huge rusty transformer. The hotel to beach has a few minutes walk. There is a tiny swimming pool on top of the small new building (5th floor), in 3 days we've never found any guests using this tiny pool. We had to cross street to go to the main building, take a lift to third floor to use main swimming pool.
The major advantage of this hotel is that it close to shopping bell. You can just walk along the street and find many restaurant and shopping malls.

Great location, even though hotel is a bit old...

I will recommend hotel to refurbish especially the in room air-con, too loud, can't hardly get good sleep at night
There is no California King bed for the Super Deluxe room once I got upgraded to, only Queen size and that is consider drawback
TV set size is way too small.
Breakfast only acceptable level.
One last thing and it is most important, the shower room, small and not so clean (not dirty though), MUST improve on that, MUST!

End of year traveling with family and small little kids

Environment is quiet. You need to walk about 5 mins to get to the nearby local eateries and shops. Rooms are big and nice. But one thing I don't like about this hotel is that there's no public wifi for usage.

we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms are very spacious, neat and clean, stuffs are very friendly. But the restaurant stuffs are not much educated enough to treat with the guests. They have the problem in efficiency in English. However the hotel is just at a stone throw distance from the beach which is very nice and bewitching. There are many restaurants and massage centers are also around the hotel. The hotel is really in the center of all the tourists enjoyment faciltiy
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The patong beach is the main attraction near the hotel.Many restaurants, shopping house, food courts, massage centers are situated along with beach.

great stay with clean room and pleasant service. there are ample shopping opportunities when you stay at this hotel. from the enterance, walk to the main road and turn right to walk to the shopping places. from tour agents, money changers, motorbikes rentals, night markets to a modern shopping mall its found along the main road. to stay away from the hot temperature and to shop in comfort, you should go to the shopping mall where you find all the things you need to buy there.

It was memorable stay at Andaman Beach Suites Hotel. This hotel is located at hearts of every thing like near to sea beach, near to food court, walkable distance to Bangala Road.
Overall 10/10 points
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't book the sighseeing online. Reach to Phuket 1st and then talk to 2-3 agent. Surely you will get good deal.
