Kata beaches were nice - we never made it to Karon - which was a lot further away than we had anticipated. We also visited Patang one evening - it was best to hire a taxi for the afternoon because the price for return taxi's at night cost about 500 bhat.

The hotel is especially nice for honeymooners!
