Freshly renovated, great pools A few renovations going on one day next door, nothing bad really. Great place and a bargain off season deal with agoda. Its in a great location, all the staff were very good. Police station right out the front for extra security. We were there with a two year old and she loved the place. Beach out the front got a bit dirty with the big rain acouple of times but wasnt far to get down to some nice beaches on the bike. We would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the Big Buddha, great monument and fantastic views.

I have stayed here many times, the staff is always helpful and smiling. The rooms are always clean. It is in a quiet location but near the beach. There are some little fish joints just outside the hotel to the left if you don't want to eat at the hotel dining room. If you like a quiet setting and a nice pool, this is a good choice.
Hotel Feature Tip : They have a big pool acess room, nice room.

lovely setting, staff very friendly, great pools, breakfast one of the best ive had , ideal ocation between kata and karon centres some of the hot food at breakfast was cold Andaman seaview hotel is located ideally for going out kata to left and karon to right. The hotel is set out great with 2 pools, one lovely lanscaped with pool bar.All the hotel staff are very attentive. The superior rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is one of the best ive had an d in line with the star rating for the hotel.

Refreshing cool drink and cold towel on arrival. Efficient check-in. Large comfortable rooms. My wife have stayed at this hotel probably at least once a year for the past five years. Its located at the quiet end of Karon Beach but within easy walking distance from the shops at Kata makes for a very relaxing holiday. Staff are always friendly. Beach towels are provided in each room as are umbrellas for those often wet afternoons. The only down side from our point of view is the very poor internet service.

The hotel room is beautiful, clean, large and spacious. They also provide a nice little basket (in it 2 beach towels) which you can use to bring to the swimming pool or to the beach (karon) which is just a minute walk from the hotel. During our stay, we took the superior room. Even though there was only 2 of us, the superior room can easily fit 3 persons.The breakfast is really good. They provide alot of fruits and yogurt (which is good for your digestive system if you take too much meat!) The hotel was great but not the transportation. Taxi ride to the hotel was approx 45mins and cost ard 500 baht(meter taxi from airport). The ride from the hotel to the airport was 700 baht after much negotiation. There are many eateries located in the nearby town area (approx 10mins walk from the hotel). we also went to the nearby Dino Golf park and had a great time there. Taxi ride to Patong is approx: 250baht - 300 baht. If you prefer a place which is quiet and far from the noise and sound, this is a great place to be.

Wonderfully spacious rooms and friendly staff There was a constant weird high-pitch sound that would randomly come from the toilet in the middle of the night which was quite frightening. Worth going back again.
Restaurant Tip : Instead of dining at the hotel's restaurant, a short walk immediately outside the hotel will increase your options astronomically and gastronomically as well!

Breakfast Excellent hotel. Clean and good size room. Service is top notch. Beach is less than a minute walk away. Restaurants and Massage Parlors are located just outside the hotel.
Beach is clean and sunset is pretty romantic as there are no more than 50 ppl walking around in the evening.
Highly recommended! :)

lovely pool , good rooms , a very nice hotel , nice beach this hotel was in a nice location - beach just opposite the hotel , resterants were a short walk away and getting into town took only 15 minutes . the breakfast was ok - and the pool was fantastic with nice staff. hotel was good value for money and the room was nice and comfortable.

Nice rooms , great pool , very friendly helpful staff Andaman seaview hotel situated opposite Karon beach is a very nice hotel with a super pool , staff are very friendy and helpful , rooms are available which have direct access to pool from terrace which would be perfect for families with children , breakfast was good , not so kken on resort as tailors and tour touts can be irritating , over all a good 3 night stay with husband and 16 year old son .

- Hotel try to sell only their own airport Taxi who is 1000 THB ( very expanisve ), was not helpful with calling a Taxi we had to search oursefl on the street one
- We stayed at the Andaman Seaview Hotel for 2 Nights. It's good value for the money. The beach is on the ohter side of the street. Beach is nice and clean. Only for people who want to be on a quite side of phuket. Not much to do over there. Rooms where clean and big, staff friendly but the service to call a Taxi would be also nice. We rent a scooter for 200 THB p/d.

Great service, Good breakfast, Nice vibe Not much of a seaview from any room in the hotel My husband I went to this hotel for our honeymoon. The service was great we always felt very comfortable. When we first arrived we were given refreshments (after a long flight this was much needed) and we were also given a complimentary little 'honeymoon' cake.
Our room was beautiful, the only disappointment was we didn't have a view of the sea, only if we leant over the balcony, however some rooms might have more of a view. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and has a long driveway hence the limited view.
Karon beach is a great location, we prefered it to Patong.
Recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay somewhere quite, but there is enough shops, markets, cafes and restaurants nearby to keep you busy.
Shopping Tip : Markets/night markets before the large round-a-bout seemed all they were interested in was ripping you off. The shops towards kata beach (in the opposite direction) were much more reasonable with negotiating prices.
Oh and coffee is no good in Phuket, all filtered so if you miss your latte/cap Andaman Coffee Co or Starbucks are pretty much the only cafes that do real coffee.

- bllue and white exterior design gives a "greece-like" feeling. very nice

-kata beach is just walking distance away. For those who would like a "not so crowded beach" , you will like it here.
- the breakfast buffet is much below expectations. Rather do without.
We love the design of the hotel, very greece-like and the rooms are big. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Its within walking distance t kata beach. Not so crowded as compared to Patong. However, I suggest you to rent a car if you would like to venture to the city and patong shopping area. The only really negative point about the hotel is its breakfast buffet. Limited selection, does not taste fresh and good.

Across the street from Karen Beach and short distance from Kata Beach. Quiet location. Comfortable room. Nice Spa. Just one small elevator for the whole hotel. We were using Andaman Seaview Hotel as a transition spot before going to Ko Phi Phi Island in April. Except for the Spa, the hotel overall was OK for the price. There is not much things to do around this hotel area. You can get to a nice swimming Karen Beach from a fine minute walk to the right of the hotel or catch a short Tuk Tuk ride to Kata Beach to the left of the hotel which has better nightlife and restaurants. The seafood stands and restaurants to the left of the hotel offer fresh seafood selections at a reasonable price. Three or four massage houses in the row nearby offer good Thai massage.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try to catch a 8 am ferry to Ko Phi Phi Island and come back the same day or stay overnight if you can. The swimming and water is great. You won't be disappointed!

We liked the: service, friendly staff, buffet breakfast and proximity to beach and other amenities. Really no weaknesses. The in room wireless internet service was somewhat spotty and slow.
Front driveway area could be improved with more vegetation. We had a wonderful family vacation from April 24-April 29/ 2009 at the Andaman seavview hotel in Karon Beach. The hotel was very clean, the hotel staff were friendly and prompt in their service. The pool area was spacious with a nice swim up bar. The hotel was close to the beach, requiring only a short walk across the road. Many great restaurants were within a 10 min walk.
Restaurant Tip : Several good restaurants within a short 10 min walk towards kata beach.
