Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Best Experience
best beach and beautiful sunset
10
We stayed here for three nights after being in patong for 8 nights. This was our fourth time to Phuket but we had never stayed down at Laguna Beach, we had only visited friends and family down there. Th Agsana hotel is brand new and caters for couples and families. We arrived about 12 noon and check in isnt til 3pm. They let us check in when we arrived even though it was three hours early. They also gave you a welcome drink and bracelet. They upgraded us to one of their best rooms the 1 bedroom loft. This room was amazying and was two storey with living downstairs and a toilet and bedroom upstairs which had an outdoor shower and tub as well as an indoor shower. They come and service your room twice a day and in the evening they light candles and take the pillows off your bed. They also leave a present on your pillow each night which costs you 1 USD a night. The money goes to helping the endangered animals so we didnt mind paying at all, but it does say that if you wish not to participate then that is fine. The staff spoke very good english and were so friendly and willing to help you in any way. The beach is amazying and the chairs are free unlike patong. There are beach restaurants to the right of the hotels beach and there are also restaurants back out on the main road which you can catch the free shuttle bus to and they are just a short walk from there. Food is a little more expensive same as the beer but not by much and the area is so much nicer. The hotels pool was so so long and the breakfast was the best that I have ever seen. There was anything from pancakes and waffles with chocolate sauce to eggs, bacon, cakes, fried rice dishes, curries, fruits. There was so much variety. Also the baby elephant comes to breakfast at 9 til 930 for the kids to feed her and get pictures and then comes again around 3 or 330pm at the beach. Its so well trained and the trainer is more than happy to take pictures from you. Our experince at the Agsana was remarkable!!
Restaurant Tip:
Best restaurants that we ate at were Tony's Restaurant and the Indian on the left on the main road. Used to be called little india but cant remember the name now. The indian was the best indian we had ever had.

Good service and excellent environment
8.3
The hotel servant visits the room twice to make up room and setup the bed. They will provide little gift surprise which tells you more about Thailand's history and environmental conservation. The pool view room has excellent view of large swimming pool and the tranquil laguna. It is bravo for relaxing. The food there was great too.
Shopping Tip:
Angsana gift shop has promotion on aromatherapy oil. It is a great bargain.

Lovely hotel but can be better
7
+ Large room size
+ Well mantained probably it's still new
- Smaller king sized bed compared to other chains who provide super king sized bed
- Insufficient hoods for towels in the bathroom
- No clothes hanger at balcony to hang wet swim wear
- Nothing much around the vicinity

from the first moment to the last this hotel was amazing. the service was great and all of the staff were polite and friendly.
we had a free upgrade and loved it.
the pool is amazing, as is the nearby beach.
canal village nearby has some great shops and a nice bakery and there is plenty to do at the hotel.
would stay again and reccomend to anyone, expecially families (as they have schedules every day for kids activities)

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days. Everything was great but the distance to center. It takes 30min to Patong by taxi.

Beautifully presented hotel and excellent service!
large rooms, large bathrooms, nightly turn down service with little souvenirs left on your pillow
8.3
We stayed here as our friend was getting married at the Laguna Chapel. The welcome drink and cold towel was especially nice!
We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The lobby bar was a nice quiet area for a drink. I enjoyed walking down to the beach area for a massage each day!
We also enjoyed seeing the baby elephant walk near the breakfast area each day!
Whilst the hotel looks really pretty, some of the detail needs to be worked on as our bathroom was missing tiles in the bath area and the table outside on the balcony needed painting.
