This was probably the worst hotel we have stayed at.We have visited Phuket 7-8 times before, but never had such poor accommadation. The hotel is in a poor location and run down. The Staff were not interested in their guests and the description is not to their usual high standards

Clean hotel for the amount of money paid, it was around $30AUD per night. The reception people are a bit slow in service though. The hotel clients are mainly those who stay in Phuket for 30 day + apparently they get a good deal. It is around 15 mins walk to the main shopping centre but very close to the street market. Be aware there are 2 APK resorts in Phuket I personally prefer the other one as it is closer to the shopping centre and has a good restaurant. This hotel is good for solo travelers.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The next door laundry lady is very helpful, make sure that you book all your tours from her.She actually went on her motorbike to exchange money for s and to buy cigarettes for my husband.

apk 1, apk 2, apk3. thats what i found out. i stay in apk 1 the sino building style, very old. but clean. apk 1 & 2 is side by side. taxi to jungceylon mall 200 bath, coming back same price. walking distance 10 minutes walk, at night not recommended. choose apk 3 @ apk resorts & spa. located at patong center, 1 minute walk to jungceylon.

joe louis seafood...thai.

bad hotel facilities & poor service. try to avoid
the spa suit is ok but expensive

I booked a Deluxe room for three night but ended paying 2000bt a night extra to upgrade to a spa suit. because the room condition was so bad that worse than any motel room you could find.
the location is a bit far from the beach and very noisy. breakfast is a totally crap. the staff are all with stone face and don't speak much english. you can tell at once if you don't give tips while they help you.
the swimming pool is so filthy that i never saw anyone swimming there.
try to avoid!!!!

Booked 2 deluxe rooms for 5 nights. Rooms are clean and big with full panel glass door balcony. if TV is big screen LCD panel will be great. Stay was comfortable with change of towels every day. Bring yr own tooth brush & tooth paste. Hotel to beach is about 15 mins walk along 'stonely'road. Good thing is there is complimentary shuttle ride to the sister hotel APK Resort & SPA. U can book SPA session and they can arrange to & fro ride. The oil massage is GREAT and service with a smile. There is also a small infinity pool at top of the hotel with good full view of the area.The sister hotel is very near Jungcelyon and Blanga road where all the activities are. If u crave for mango sticky rice, go to basement of Jungcelyon, Baht70 for a big portion GOOD!
There is a small 'counter'(not belonging to the hotel) just a short distance outside the APK Resort Hotel where u can book city tour etc - reasonably priced. Booked a 6 hours city tour for Baht 1200.
Nice & cheap seafood just outside 'ANDAMAN BEACH SUITES, Phuket-Patong Beach' which is about 15 mins walk from APK Resort. The first stall just outside this hotel - A good size super fress sea-bass, 1 huge squid, green curry, morning glory (vege), clams, rice less than Baht1000. We have our dinner here for 3 nights!
Shopping Tip:
'EXPO', this is where all the locals shops and prices are much cheaper. lots of stalls for ladies & gent's apparells, shoes, bags.

การต้อนรับเข้าพักบริการได้รวดเร็วดี ห้องพักสะดวกสบายเหมาะสมราคา แต่อาหารเช้าไม่ค่อยหลากหลาย รสชาดต้องปรุงเอง จำนวนอาหารน้อย ที่จอดรถมีให้ แต่ไม่สะดวก(ควรปรับปรุงมารยาทของ รปภ.)

ห้องพักจัดว่าดีมากเลยค่ะเมื่อเทียบกับราคา ราคาถูก ห้องใหม่ สะอาด กว้างพอสมควร ที่สำคัญในห้องมีอ่างจากุซซี่ที่ระเบียงห้องด้วย(ไม่ได้มีทุกห้องมีชั้นละ 2 ห้องเท่านั้น ต้่องระบุว่าต้องการห้องนี้นะคะ)สระว่ายน้ำค่อนข้างเล็ก อาหารเช้าเราไปซื้อที่โรงแรมตอนเช้าเอาค่ะ เพราะที่เราจองไม่ได้รวมอาหารเช้า อยากจะบอกว่าอาหารเช้าไม่ค่อยโอเคเลย ไม่มีข้าวต้ม มีข้าวสวยกับมันฝรั่งผัดอะไรไม่รู้ไม่น่ากินแล้วไก่ทอดน่องเล็กๆ ขนมปังก็แข็งไปนิด หรือว่าช่วงที่เราเข้าพักมีคนเข้าพักน้อยทางโรงแรมเลยจัดอาหารเช้ามาน้อย,,โรงแรมจะมีชื่อคล้ายกันคือ APK Resort&Spa แต่ก็เป็นเครือเดียวกัน ระวังเข้าผิด..
