Great location, walking distance to main centre

this was our third stay at the aspery so we are obviously happy with the location, room and its value for money. we did notice that three years on it is beginning to look a bit frayed around the edges but nevertheless its still a great option if you want to be close to bagla rd, the beach and the main shopping area. staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet style and good. would recommend the travel place on the corner next to the hotel for all your hiring, booking, laundry etc. the lady that runs it has a wicked sense of humour and is so efficient.
Restaurant Tip:
"Sabai" right on the beach front in Patong, best barbecue ribs ever.

Nice place to stay at when visting phuket

when we arrived a double bed room (as we booked) was not available and we were put in a twin bed room for one night. second day when they switched our rooms they left our luggage in the lobby unattended instead of moving it into the new room. nevertheless, with this exception the stuff was mostly helpful and our stay at the aspery was quite nice. the location is also good 5 minutes away from the beach and about 10-15 minutes walking from the main party street - bangla road

The staff are not pleasant - bored, dismissive, quite unwilling to acknowledge that there may be problems; the key card to enter the room kept not working, necessitating going back down to the lobby to have the keycard reset. Finally they had to repair the lock, though the problem reoccurred.
When we checked in the refrigerator did not work, nor did the room safe; howeevr, they did send a repairman right away and it did get fixed. It appears that the hotel could use a thorough upgrade. Breakfast is good but otherwise the restaurant is overpriced. next door is an elegant hotel, Nap, and they had a wonderful fixed price Thai buffet for 300 Baht- about half the price of the meals in the hotel's restaurant. And the Internet connection was way too slow, almost useless. Not the best value hotel.

we stayed in aspery hotel for 2 nights and we had great time there. we were served with two welcome drinks upon arrival. with the help of staff, we get our room very fast with a free upgrade. the swimming pool unfortunately was closed for the first day because of the windy weather. luckily, we went to their swimming pool before check-out on 29th. the pool is really nice! you must try it!

Big spacious hotel with friendly staffs
Best feature got to be the spacious deluxe room that we booked.

The hotel is located right in the heart of Patong Beach. We hired a scooter and literally learnt our way around in half a day. The staff are very accurate with the directions,where to go and what to do. There is a tour office nearby in case you guys want to book some programs such as island hopping and shows timings. The deluxe room we booked was beyond our expectation. The room was simply huge and spacey. A great view as we lounged on the balcony. The breAkfast was always a variation everyday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you can ride, motor rental is the best vehicle to use as you whizz your way around Patong beach. Don't worry you won't get lost as it is a one way traffic all around Patong.
