smell of clogged sewage outside of room. But luckily it was not a very strong smell, so you could not smell it once your room door is closed. I stayed in one of the pool access room on the first floor. The room was tastefully furnished with furniture that exudes a very relaxed and romantic feel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The area is little quiet but it just a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. So it is good if you like the action in Patong but yet appreciate some calm at the hotel.
One disappointing area is the spa on location. The choices were limited and the Spa area is just a small sheltered area by the poor. Not impressive at all.

The breakfast was great and convenient. Getting a little dated. Some fabrics in the room are faded so the rooms needed a little updating. The hotel is across from the beach on the quieter south end of Patong beach. The staff was friendly. We ate breakfast everyday on stay. The menu had enough variety so it didn't get tiresome. The rooms are ok. If they updated them they would be great and I would rate the hotel higher overall. The value was good so I might stay again.

A GOOD LOCATION. FEW ROOMS the maintenance must be aprrooved we stayed 3 days . it was our second visit in avantika hotel. we choose this hotel in patong beach because it's a boutique hotel with a few rooms and a quit environment and still in the center of patong. the style is very unique and the rooms are very nice. we don't recommend the rooms on the pool , you don't have enough privacy. the breakfast is correct.
