Though a hotel pool is usually cliche, this one had a nice feel to it.

We stayed at a budget hotel for the first 5 days in Phuket, then moved to Avantika for a treat. Avantika was 4 times the price, but not 4 times the luxury. Probably twice the luxury. But our budget hotel didn't have a pool, and the room at Avantika was more spacious and the bathroom definitely better (with a separate bath).

I left booking my time in Phuket 'til the last minute and, as peak time, I had to stay in 6 hotels in 7 days. This was the most expensive by 25%, so not totally fair comparison. However, it was in the top 2 and, if I didn't prefer the location of another in Karon, it would clearly be number one. Great staff, lovely rooms and nice breakfast.
Pool is a little small, but then you have the beach 10m away.

Overall, not a bad place. I probably exagerate the lack of cleanliness and the location makes up for a lot of shortcomings. Just the same, I will probably choose another hotel if I ever return to Phuket.

All the right elements but lacking that "extra something" required from a "boutique hotel". This is a nice hotel, but we felt it didn't quite hit the mark

Great location. Friendly staff (just don't mention the internet), clean rooms and great breakfast to get you started every morning! Great value for money.
- Shopping Tip : 1) Offer street vendors half their initial offer to you
2) Hold down the toilet flush handle for a good 4-5 seconds. The toilets work differently to those in Australia!

Located on the Patong beach, great night life, walking distance to shopping, malls, restaurant and the beach.
