deco and setting of the room is fabulous! we stay in the sea view room, i can probably just stay the whole day stay in the hotel room.
the hotel is in surin beach, which is the quite exclusive stay place--on the hill,facing to the sea. i do enjoy the cosy beach without crowds and noisy. the hotel provide bagi service to beach as well. you can just be satisfied to stay there .dont forget have to get up to try the breakfast---everything so fresh!
Restaurant Tip : The silk is recommended as authentic thaifood by the hotel staff.but we didnt really feel it is very thai! the place for real thai food i think you should visit " Baan Rim Pa "in Phuket specializes in Royal Thai Cuisine.you will never feel regreted to dinning there.though the price little high

Lovely spacious rooms, with great views. Free internet. Fully equiped gym and good spa.
Not on the beach, but they do have a free shuttle service to the beach.
Wish we had stayed longer, the resort is amazing and the room was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed in Ayara Hilltops hotel in March 2009 and had a nice experience - which sums up the hotel for us, it was 'nice', nothing in particular wrong with it, but it wasn't spectacular or extraordinary.
Welcome upon arrival was a little disorganised and luke-warm, perhaps as there were a few people checking in at the same time.
The rooms were nice, although a little smaller than the photos imply - the bedroom felt a little claustrophobic.
Buggy service at the hotel is fabulous - the buggy will drop you off and pick you up in the vicinity of the hotel. Rather than arrange a pick-up time with the driver, we'd just call the hotel when we were ready to leave the beach and the buggy would be there within 10 mins.
Location is convenient - great beaches nearby, Surin and especially Laem Singh. Nice restaurants and a couple of bars on Surin beach. Dinner in the hotel was nice, although very expensive.
Restaurant Tip : Nearby Taste and Catch! both excellent - Catch is a little expensive, but nice atmosphere and great terrace. Food at Tast was really good, and great service.
Nearby Silk is really worth a visit - the restaurant will come and pick you up from and drive you back to your hotel. Food and service exceptional.
