Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Nice hotel with fantastic views- some drawbacks
8
Hotel was great with an amazing view. Private pool was nice. Beach hard to access and can't go in water. Room service ended early and not much around the hotel. Service was nice but a bit slow. Not much television channels. Nice place if you wNt to get away from everything. Liked the separate living room and bedroom feature. Bathrooms were grand but only one sink. Private pool was huge! But little privacy since we were near the guards entrance. Recommend room
Travel tip:
Use the private shuttle to go to kamala beach. Very nice. Only stay here if you like very hard beds!

Massive Rooms - You Need to Be Fit
Large rooms, pleasant staff, quiet
6.7
This hotel read well on Agoda and Trip Advisor, but its not really 5 star. The rooms are lovely and very large and well appointed. However, there are problems. The shower is enormous with an impressive overhead shower-head......but you can't use it because the water pressure is too low. It takes almost 2 hours to fill the jacuzzi bath - pointless. The staff's English is generally poor (ok, my Thai is non-existent) and that lead to problems sorting out the minor niggles (and also ordering dinner), but they are utterly delightful. To his credit, the Manager engaged quickly and was most attentive after we indicated we had concers (he even gave us a mobile phone). The tiny hotel beach is MILES away and the hotel is set on a steep hill; you've got to be fit to get around! All that said, its quiet and beautiful but the place is well off the beaten track and hard to find.
Restaurant Tip:
The White Orchid close to Kamala Beach. Angie is great and the food superb and cheap.

Great location
Good service, outstanding view on ocean
7.3
Overall this hotel is to recommended for quality of its services. Staff is very kind and always ready to make you feel at home. It is a little out of beaches which requires having a car but the hotel is providing a shuttle. A review is needed for its restaurant, really prohibitive.

Fantastic view & romantic getaway
Great view of the Andaman Sea, beautiful decor & spacious bathrooms
8.3
We booked into the Grand Deluxe for 4 nights and it was magical. The room was gorgeous with balcony & all the amenities and the bathroom had a jacuzzi tub/private shower and was huge. Service was great, the restaturant had a pretty decent selection. Free shuttle to and fro Kamala Town - for which Oy's Restaurant is a must try.
Nonetheless we had a great time, truly a place to unwind.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Prepare enough budget set aside for travelling to and fro Patong/Airport.

Great hotel in a quiet environement
room was very nice, great pool, quiet environement
9.7
spent the most relaxing and romantic stay at the Ayara kamala resort. it is a bit far from town, but that was exactly what we were looking for: a quiet environement, in an ideal location, surrounded by vegetation, beautiful sea view from the room, very nice swimming pool. I will defenitely go back!
Travel tip:
great location/hotel, if you have a rental car

Decent but didnt meet expectations
4.7
we were looking for something out of the way from patong, but still close enough to go there if desired. the ayara seemed a good choice, but not sure it earned the reviews it has received.
the room was nice, but...
- buffet breakfast was not great
- swimming pool was dirty (especially in the area that has the built in seats... it was pretty nasty)
- the lift/escalator that takes you down was disabled throughout my entire stay
- its seclusion simply becomes an annoyance (far from any beaches)
- the service was nice, but not very efficient (we missed the annual phuket vegetarian festival due to poor insights offered by their reception / concierge)
Restaurant Tip:
go up to surin and eat at twinpalms. they offer a great buffet spread on friday nights

Though the location may be idyllic, the hotel is far too remote from the town (Kamala)or Patong. The hotel is built on a hill. There is no beach to speak of. Just rocks. Price of transport was exorbitant. 500 baht minimum. Any kind of service was only rendered with a tip otherwise there was some excuse it could not be done. Not the most pleasant of stays.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get your own transport. Don't depend on the hotel. Far too expensive.

this is my first time for my wife and i to spend our anniversary in phuket. First we look up a hotel in the agoda and yes we have found this hotel. When we got there we feel like this hotel is just a small place because they only have 31 rooms but finally when we get in to the room we found out that the room is such a very luxery and contain with incredible accessories. the view is so romantic ,we can see the gulf of phatong from our room.

Perfect for Romantic getaways
Beautiful rooms, charming staff and Outstanding cleanliness everywhere.
7.3
Best hotel rooms, views and pools I have stayed at. The rooms were massive and having your own private infinity pool was outstanding. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Staff were always cleaning and would make up the rooms twice a day. The breakfast was decent but at times could have been a bit better.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel has shuttles for Patong Beach, best to use them whenever possible.
