Lara G. Couples Australia, April 15, 2013	Cute hotel, great staff Pool, Thai Decor, Quiet area 7.7 We enjoyed our stay at Baan Chayna. It is tucked away from the touristy Surin town in a residential area which was a nice change. The location is a bit of a walk to the beach but that was fine, very easy access on a bike.the hotel manager was lovely and extremely helpful. And other staff were also just as friendly. Breakfast was simple but nice and was prepared fresh for you on a gorgeous little outside bar overlooking the pool. It consisted of eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt and freshly made coffee. The pool was small but well kept. The rooms were a decent size and well decorated in Thai-style decor. Overall, I would stay here again.

Quick exit, nice towel formation, there's a mini bar 3 I was booked in for 5 nights, I stayed two and got out of there and didn't look back. Mosquitoes, bed bugs and barking dogs kept me awake both nights. The second night was a bad experience when I was rounded up by dogs in the street and had to climb a gate and hail somebody down on a scooter to get me back safely.

It is a pretty small hotel, but the manager was very nice and helpful. there are a few good eating places nearby and surin beach is no too far away(15 minutes walk) overall a very pleasant stay for us.
