Quiet, close to beach, great staff. Older Rooms, Rooms on the small side, two twin beds pushed together to make one large bed, Remote for TV did not work, Breakfast not up to expectations. This hotel is in a great location with beach directly across street. Rooms are small and dated. Breakfast buffet in morning was not a very good standard with much of the food under cooked. I am afraid that I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for easy access to the beach, but there are many more with this same feature. I will most likely stay elsewhere next time I visit Phuket.

Good location. Very friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Beautiful room. We had a seaview room. The view was partially blocked by buildings. The hotel is ideally situated across the road from the beach in a peaceful spot. There is a Soi at the side of the hotel which has restaurants, bike hire, massage, laundries and mini supermarket. A 5 minutes walk along the beach road in either direction will take you to where there are many shops and restaurants.
Travel tip : Taxis in Phuket are expensive for Thailand. We rented a motorbike which was very inexpensive and a great way to explore the island.

Some staff were very rude. Rooms were not very good at all (but I suppose you get what you pay for) The place was ok for budget, ok swimming pool but some of the staff were very rude. We ordered room service, he dropped it off and said he would like cash.. I didn't have any on me, so I said put it on the room bill (like you do, no probs). He turned around said something in Thai (which I can't imagine was good) Threw the pen on the tray stormed out of the room and left the door open behind him!! Nice man. Also when we were leaving she was nice about it but again she asked for cash, I said I only had card.. She turned round and said the card machine isn't working. I had some cash but I just wanted to see... Would you believe, it miraculously started to work again. Not sure what scams they have going there !!

Si trova un po' fuori dalla vita notturna di phuket, ma ciò può essere un bene. Le stanze sono graziose, pulite e il personale è cordiale, ma assai poco prono ad aiutare il cliente a risolvere eventuali difficoltà. La colazione è buona e abbondante. La piscina è molto bella, ma l'acqua è sporca e trattata con agenti che rendono i capelli di plastica. L'Hotel è nel complesso buono. Si trova sulla spiaggia principale di Karon e offre un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. La non vicinanza alle aree più frequentate è un vantaggio. Le stanze sono discrete e ben equipaggiate. Il personale è cordiale, ma non sempre pronto a risolvere le difficoltà del turista. La colazione è buona e varia. La piscina per quanto bella è sporca e bisogna di un restyling.

As i see it, the Karon beach is the best beach in Phuket.It's quiet and beautiful,not so noise and so many business as the Patong beach.
And the Karon princess resort,which is also small and good,yet I know the price there is cheaper than this one ,but the people there is more than this one too.
Restaurant Tip : To rent a motorbike,it's far from Patong beach.
And some short streets around here,you can have dinner and massage.But seafood in the beach restaurants(both Karon and Patong beach)is been frozen.You can find the fresh seafood in the Pucket town,which is far away,but delicious.

The resort was ideally placed right on the beach front and within walking distance of local shops bars and restuarants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of food on offer. The lift was quite slow, however the hotel is low rise so you can take the stairs easily. The hotel was fantastic, i really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. As a lone traveller they were quick to make me feel welcome, they pointed me in the direction of shops and nightlife and informed me of daytrips that i could take. The room was clean and only needed a little bit of ranovation. The hotel had a fantastic bar and restuarant although they close at about 11pm so no room service or drinks can be ordered after that time, but the local bars and restuarants are about 5-10 minutes walk away. The hotel pool is medium sized and was clean, the hotel provided towels and offered bar snacks and drinks at poolside.

Easy access to Phuket town, Patong beach and other beaches by Scooter. Lots to do and experience very close to hotel! Hotel pool very nice too! Loved Karon Beach, can't wait to go back!
Restaurant Tip : Cheap and worthwhile restaurants further along Karon beach and even deeper into town, lots of choices! Karon beach is the Best Beach to stay on in Phuket! Street vendor food is very good and cheap and really worth trying! Lots of pineapple! You have to try the pineapple or banana pancakes with chocolate sauce and condensed milk, so good!

Karonburi Resort was everything we had wished for! It was our second honeymoon and they made it very special for us! Staff were just so lovely! Our laundry, airport transports and our trips were all organised without any hassles at all. We went to Karonburi from a recommendation, and we will recommend it to our family and friends. I can't wait to return someday! Thank you, Karonburi!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Beach chairs and umbrellas for 100 baht per day. Get over to beach early to ensure you get one. Beach massage is a must at 400 baht for 1 hour.

Me and my newly wed wife decided to head to Phuket for that authentic rustic scenic honeymoon paradise called Phuket. Baan Karonburi Resort was recommended to us by our close friends. And it turn out to be one of the cosiest and warmest resort we have stayed so far.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 1) Beach is perfect, right in front of hotel.
2) There is Karon Shopping Centre a few doors away from hotel, can buy lotsa souvenirs like shirts, wood craft etc. Certain items' pricing here slightly cheaper than Patong shops, bargaining required of course.
3) On the road towards Kata, will see a strech of Seafood restaurants on the left, facing the beach. Fresh and affordable seafood. Must try local spicy Tomyam!
4) After the seafood stretch, can find row of massage parlours, great and cheap for easing tired feet and body. Pricing around Thai Baht 250 per hour for foot and 500 for whole body.
5) Can rent a motorbike for Thailand Baht250 per day and travel up south to Kata Beach. Many shops and food galore also.
6) Ride bike upto to hillside, Proemthep to visit Viewpoint for great sunset view. Be there before 5.30 pm local time. Also stop by Reggae Bar up the hill for a cool beer with a view.

A nice hotel with nice pool fairly expensive restaurant, in principle, as had all the restaurant rel high prices as they hung up 10% 7% On Kata beach has lower prices overall, and then had them 10-20% off! A really nice hotel near the beach (iofs can barely swim off-season when the wind blows really very high waves, Sea view from some rooms, and from the restaurant. Rooms were fine with a good standard, although the hotel should not be classed as fyrstjärningt so it was nice !
Travel tip : Go to Kata Beach instead! Karon is almost dead in low season and much more expensive!
