Good budget hotel. Initially disappointed that the pool did not have a bar or a toilet. There is a bar within 30 meters on the car park which obviously has a toilet and the lobby of the hotel which is approx. 40 meters away. I though it was very clean but a bit dated. The chines restaurant was nice but they did serve me Green curry when i asked for sweet and sour chick. The waiter stated it was sweet and sour but when the bill came it stated green curry.We just thought this was quite amusing.
Shopping Tip : Shopping on Khaosan Road is cheaper than MBK shopping centre if they have what you want. Look for the men in black near McDonald and they will radio a free Tuc Tuc for you back to the hotel.

The pool was nice but there a about 3 big hotel looking down on the pool so not the best view The staff, one of our friends had a accident and needed to go to hospital and none of the staff would help. The hotel was fine, its more Karon that we didn't like, there are no normal bars they all seem to have hookers which is not nice. There isn't much at all to do in Karon Kata beach was much nicer
Shopping Tip : go to Patong for shopping at night.

Small pool but what the hell...lets head for the beach ! Hotel staff were friendly but only if you're such,so-so breakfast but the big and clean room is a plus.Forget the hotel's pool just head straight for the beach.Great location,just few steps away from beach and right in the center of Karon beach.Nice,quiet and cozy enough for solo or couple...will be back !
Travel tip : 10 to 15 minutes stroll to nearby town central and check out the TWO CHEF RESTAURANT ...slightly high price but damn good food !

The rooms where mustie, But clean This is a quite a nice place to stay if you wont to get away from the the hussle and bussle of Phuket, But still others all the same as Patong, This Hotel is on the beach of Karon, At night you would watch the kites fly in the sky which where carried away in the sky by a flame, The lanes here have some great resturants, and good markets, But When leaving the hotel gave as a bill for water, Which we didnt drink, as we always empty the bar fridge, And by our own water, we lift some drinks also in the bar fridge which we brought ourselfs, We didnt have time to sort this out as we where leaving for the airport, The money was taken out of my hand and i was told i would have to pay for it, $200 bht, I was not happy at all and will not stay here again, But would stay at Karon beach for sure

Beautiful architecture; nice, clean rooms; friendly staff; and good location. We were happy that the Baan Karonburi's location was in the middle of a large vendor market as well as a street of restaurants and Thai massages. Room was nice and clean and staff very friendly. The hotel is directly across from the beach which has an interesting giant dragon/snake statue.

Location, near Karon centrum in front of beach.
bathroom, some renovation needed. It was nice moderate hotel. Hotel was quite old, room was little bit too small and bathroom was not so attractive. There (In Bathroom) was almost nothing to complain but I have seen better ones.
Breakfast was good and also food was good.
Swimming pool area was quite small, but there was always room when wanted to go there.
Staff were friendly.

dated room, dirty bathroom, poor breakfast Found previous guest hair on bathroom floor when we check in! One afternoon we returned from the beach found the water had dark brown colour, my husband went to query about it at front desk they just said we have to wait for at least one hour as they are cleaning up the water tank. Next day water was still kind of yellow. Location and Staff were nice but never again!!!
Travel tip : hire a scooter and see the island, visit other beaches and dont miss the sunset in Kata Hill. Best Thai food is at Ying Restaurant in Patak Rd cheap and lovely staff. Be careful with seafood displayed outside the restaurants, rip off!!

pool The Baan Koranburi is a lovely hotel with seaview from the room. The staff were excellent in all areas and were very friendly. Rooms were decorated to a good standard and were of good size. Swimming pool was good. Room service was excellent bring both drinks and food.

beachfront, quiet, wonderful breakfast too much cold in the internet room this was our second time in phuket and second time at BAAN KARONBURI in a deluxe room. My opinion is that this is the perfect hotel if you look for freedom with every comfort. Everyday we had a wonderful breakfast, than we took our motorbike and visited every place and beach of Phuket, we returned, took a shower and went out for dinner. Rooms are very clean and the hotel is in front of the long and beautiful beach of Karon. Toward Kata you can find 6 restaurants in a block just 1 km away.
Travel tip : catch a taxi at the airport and reserve it for the back trip, you will save some hundred baht

Quiet, close to beach, great staff. Older Rooms, Rooms on the small side, two twin beds pushed together to make one large bed, Remote for TV did not work, Breakfast not up to expectations. This hotel is in a great location with beach directly across street. Rooms are small and dated. Breakfast buffet in morning was not a very good standard with much of the food under cooked. I am afraid that I would not recommend this hotel unless you are looking for easy access to the beach, but there are many more with this same feature. I will most likely stay elsewhere next time I visit Phuket.

Good location. Very friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Beautiful room. We had a seaview room. The view was partially blocked by buildings. The hotel is ideally situated across the road from the beach in a peaceful spot. There is a Soi at the side of the hotel which has restaurants, bike hire, massage, laundries and mini supermarket. A 5 minutes walk along the beach road in either direction will take you to where there are many shops and restaurants.
Travel tip : Taxis in Phuket are expensive for Thailand. We rented a motorbike which was very inexpensive and a great way to explore the island.

Some staff were very rude. Rooms were not very good at all (but I suppose you get what you pay for) The place was ok for budget, ok swimming pool but some of the staff were very rude. We ordered room service, he dropped it off and said he would like cash.. I didn't have any on me, so I said put it on the room bill (like you do, no probs). He turned around said something in Thai (which I can't imagine was good) Threw the pen on the tray stormed out of the room and left the door open behind him!! Nice man. Also when we were leaving she was nice about it but again she asked for cash, I said I only had card.. She turned round and said the card machine isn't working. I had some cash but I just wanted to see... Would you believe, it miraculously started to work again. Not sure what scams they have going there !!

Si trova un po' fuori dalla vita notturna di phuket, ma ciò può essere un bene. Le stanze sono graziose, pulite e il personale è cordiale, ma assai poco prono ad aiutare il cliente a risolvere eventuali difficoltà. La colazione è buona e abbondante. La piscina è molto bella, ma l'acqua è sporca e trattata con agenti che rendono i capelli di plastica. L'Hotel è nel complesso buono. Si trova sulla spiaggia principale di Karon e offre un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. La non vicinanza alle aree più frequentate è un vantaggio. Le stanze sono discrete e ben equipaggiate. Il personale è cordiale, ma non sempre pronto a risolvere le difficoltà del turista. La colazione è buona e varia. La piscina per quanto bella è sporca e bisogna di un restyling.
