the hotel is just next to the patong beach. it is near the night market and the shopping mall by walking few minutes. the breakfast is good and the staff are nice. the chef is nice and remember my favour choice of the breakfast. i will visit this hotel again.

arrived on a very busy weekend at the hotel, reserved room was not available, the management offered a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe pool view room. room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. dining outlets at the hotel offered good food at reasonable prices. enjoyed the outdoor bar along the side walk facing the sea, was great to just sit back, enjoy your drink and watch life go by. hotel's great location offered easy access to most of patong beach - walking distance to the shopping areas, entertainment and nightlife spots, food outlets and convenient stores. looking forward to staying at this hotel again the next time i'm in phuket again.

One of the plus points I like is the free wifi and also the free minibar. Location wise is excellent. Problem with the shower, most of the time the water is too hot, cant seem to adjust it. When it pours the corridors got very wet, poor design. The good location and value for money price is the big plus.

the location is nice, famous patong beach located just across the road. the hotel is nice, but some wings are still on renovation.
we were upgraded to bigger room in new wing since our request for twin room was not available at the moment. mini bar in the room was free of charge!!! that was really great for us.
the swimming pool is good, our children love to swim for hours. but there's no towel available at the pool area, we had to bring towels from our room. breakfast quite standard.
overall, we enjoyed our stay in baan lamai

Originally booked the pool view for 1 night, due to bad weather had to stay on longer so book the more expensive sea view room for a further 2 nights. What a disappointment, should have stayed in the pool view room, much more superior, the sea view was in the old part of the hotel, had poor television with bad reception and also there is no wi-fi in the room, room looked old and dated with poor paint job, safe broke, and you unfortunately have to suffer the band that plays till midnight as the rooms are not sound proof!!! Very Loud, the sea view was not worth the trouble.
Mosquitos everywhere, and the staff although friendly the counter staff could not speak english or understood my questions over the telephone. Would not stay again, the breakfast was average.

We had a fantatic room that despite not having a window, had an excellent perspective of the street and beach scene.
Next street had a fantastic SwedeEnglish bar that had some lethal buckets for 299 baht.
Did not eat at the restaurant so cna not comment on the food.
Very helpful staff.

found hotel to be in a good location, beach across the road, breakfast was nice, rooms were good (beds a little hard). would stay there again. friendly people, although at checkout they were a little slow. good value for money. no wireless in rooms, although we could get on occassions on phones. internet in lobby was slow.
