Renovations but great location

The hotel is still undergoing renovations but we got a good deal that included breakfast and free wifi so we didnt mind too much, I did have to change rooms because they put us too close to the live bands and us having a 14 month old found it too noisy so I swapped rooms with my mum and sister. The staff were super friendly they accommodated us every breakfast time with a baby chair for our bub and even would take her for walks while we ate breakfast. The position of the hotel is right on the beach road and easy walk to everything, I did get a little sick of being pestered every time I walked out the hotel but my mother and brother and sister loved being able to shop right outside the hotel whenever they wanted.
We had a pool access room which was great because when the bub slept we could still be in the pool and just listen out for her when she woke up, we just had to keep an eye on her to make sure she didnt try and jump in while we weren't looking and keep the doors closed most times. We had to ask for a second key because they only give you one and you have to put it in the power slot when in room and take it out when leaving which means you come home to a hot room, but we had no problems getting an extra key. The flooring of the room was click together timber which is not real smart being that its a pool access room and also that the balcony floor slopes towards the room which means when it rains the water pool at the doorway so the flooring was VERY swollen in places and creaked ALOT we learnt to know which places to step over so as not to wake the baby.
Breakfast and lunch was very good, great selection. We had dinner there once and the steak was very good. They have 2 for 1 cocktails all day everyday which is awesome! The pool bar staff are very friendly and loved playing with bub. It will be great once they get the renovations done the reception will be at the far end of the hotel with a lovely big dining area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Shopping Tip:
I found Patong shop holders try to get a higher price, I bartered down to paying 150 baht for printed t-shirts and around 180 baht for collared polos. Karon Beach stall holders started with more reasonable prices and you only had to barter a little bit.

Swimming pool is very nice! Location is great! Just beside the beach. A lot of shopping and dining point. Staff Performance is quiet good. It's a good hotel for Shopping, Sightseeing, and Relaxation. Only one thing not so good is no wifi in room, just at the lobby. And no hotel transport.

The service quality is not you expected

I email to the hotel to request arrangement airport to hotel transfer for us but their response are very slow and only got their reply 2 to 3 days later. I had confirmed with them we are fine with the charges and gave them details about the time and date we arrived. They also told us how they will arrange to pick us up. On the arriving date, we couldn't find the hotel's driver to pick us up. End up, we took a taxi to the hotel and checked with them whether they sent people to fetch us. They said we did not confirmed by email but actually we did. I am not sure how many times we need to confirm! Besides, we booked the superior room with twin bed but they arranged two of us to suite room at basement with double bed. The reason what they told us is full house. We found the basement is noisy and the did not like the twin bedroom. We rejected the offer. Finally, they gave us superior room at higher floor. The service is really terrible!

Great Location but bad reception service

This hotel is under renovation. It really noisy and messy. Even the reception counter also short of hand. I have to wait more that one and half hours for my room to and the lobby is full of mosquito!! Waste my time!! Beside this the room is clean and nice but my check-in case is really bad experience.
