A building site with poor service

The staff at Reception were more concerned with chatting to each other and check in was chaotic.
the rooms were good - plenty of space and clean, but because of the band playing at the restaurant there is no way you could sleep until 1am.
The outside areas are shabby and in places dangerous - at one point at the side of the pool was a 40 foot drop to the basement.
It is still being rebuilt and there is construction work going on from early every day.
At the end the Reception staff failed to get us a taxi so we had to go outside and pay the awful 800THB fare from the crooks on the road.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Although there are now more normal car taxis they are still controlled by same "people" with same fare structure as tuk tuks

We missed a day due to the delay in our flight. The Location of the hotel is just in front of the beach (the most active one) in Phuket. The beach road is crowded but it always fun to walk around the beach. The rooms were good and the staff very courteous. But if they need more grooming in English speaking. The breakfast was good.
Hire a taxi from Phuket Airport for the whole day it will be cheaper, we paid 1800 bhat for 8 hrs with driver and fuel.
Don't miss Fantesea and to enjoy the same reach there by 6 pm three hours earlier than show so that you can take really good pictures. Do not take a pick up from the hotel instead take a local taxi for 500 bhat for pick up and drop to your hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Spend half day on the beach with various activities including paragliding etc

Great location but noisy

I absolutely love Baan Laimai - it has a great location (cross the road and tada! you're at patong beach. the clubs are also just round the corner). the staff are friendly and polite - not to mention absolutely helpful. the morning breakfast was delicious and offered a great spread. it has a fabulous pool, and it is newly renovated so yes say hello to beautiful new rooms. plus, everything in the mini bar is free of charge. all in all, i would recommend this hotel to just about anyone.
the only downside is that we gotten ourselves the deluxe room, which were located nearer to the lobby of the hotel and the open-air restaurant. the stage was directly opposite our room. this wouldn't be a problem if you are going to be out past midnight every day but for us, we were exhausted one saturday night after our snorkelling trip and wanted to turn in early. obviously, it was impossible to do so. on the upside, this meant that we could grab a couple of beers, sat by our balcony and enjoy free music. also, we had a good view of the sea (albeit it being a deluxe room and not a seaview room) so no complaints there!

front of hotel old with rooms too close to loud live music every night, until 12:30am. don't expect to get any sleep before then... back of hotel newer with newer, larger, much nicer rooms away from loud music
Restaurant Tip:
Go for a walk away from the beach street for cheaper food.

Nice hotel, however doing major construction on a large part of the hotel. We had a corner room in a building with only one room done. Hotel staff friendly, however no one really seems to know what to do. Difficult with getting and extra key and check out.
Hotel has potential I am sure when it is all finished.
Kata is a much better area to stay. 400 baht tuk tuk ride. Save plenty on a hotel and much nicer beach.
Travel tip:
check out Kata Beach. A must!

the hotel is in a great location positioned on beach road it is perfect we had a seaview room which was big but a little run down the shower was below par and bathroom in general. the hotel feels like it is three hotels join together. the breakfast was average and not worth having. overall it was ok but not a place i would recommend i think there is better value for money in the area

all the clothes you buy will srink so buy big

basically this is the best hotel in patong area as the hotel itself is right in front of patong beach!
the hotel has 1 of the best live band and serves the best dishes ever.
the swimming pool is available till 12am! awesome for couples to enjoy some night swimming.
bangla road is just 5mins walk!
patong beach night view is fantastic!
