great location , lovely size room awesome shower!
Room far enough back from the room, felt like you were in a quiet spot. Pool was amazing- pool bar staff were lovely. Breakfast was amazing!

Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't get a sea view if you want an early night- the bandstand is right above these rooms and they okay until about 2 am.

Small room no outside balcony
Great pool area and good restaurants

We were not told that most of the hotel was in the middle of renovations not finished and it didnt know there would be no balcony but it was in a great position
Travel tip:
Check if the hotel has been finished and do you have a balcony that doesn'took out onto a closed in brick wall

A step across the road to an oustanding beach.
Well located in a quiet area, but within walking distance of restaurants and night life.

I've always found it hard to find a reasonably-priced hotel with good amenities and literally on the beach. I would recommend this hotel (which has a great buffet-style breakfast for lovers, family and friends. Many people enjoy the live band. Great pool, too!

We stay for 2 nights here. We are having a great time in Baan Laimai. We 've got an upgrade room. The bedroom is big. The children really like to swim at the hotel. The hotel restaurant at the side of the road, so you can see to the beach. There is a live music in the evening. The beach in front of the hotel, just across the street. But the beach is not good enough, it's dirty. Many restaurant beside the hotel. Thai n european food.

Bipolar hotel/resort but with a top location

Location, location, location! Right on the beach. Anything else is a bonus. We found a good rate with Agoda for a "Superior" twin room. "Standard' room would be a better description. The windowless aspect didn't worry us but it was obvious that people who booked with Agoda were given the "bum" rooms - the dungeon!
The buffet breakfast was excellent. Top Egg Chef.
Noise from the band penetrated even into the dungeon rooms so organize your sleep for after midnight.
Front desk staff struggled with English.
The hotel is expanding massively but it needs to decide on its market base. I suspect it will market itself as a"resort' in future; mind you, every tin-pot hotel uses the "Resort" tag
