This hotel is right across from the beach and about a 10 minute walk from the main strip. Good clean room, and ok breakfast.

great location but it's under construction
close to beach, shops, night life.

the hotel is currently under construction, the newly built swimming pool is nice but still more work to go, it wasn't so nice when elevator not working when you live on 6th floor, it's great for the price you pay based on location, overall, i am still satisfied with my stay.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to take a speed boat if going to Phi Phi island. We took a 'luxury' yacht which in fact wasn't luxurious at all. It was a charter boat which transferrred approximately 600 people to the Island. Once we dropped them off we then went around to do our day tour.

The hotel is building a new wing and it is very noisy during the day. It has an amazing pool that wraps around the hotel but they do not have pads on the pool chairs. The wooden lounge chairs are hard on the back.

was a really nice hotel with all the new renovations pool was great had rooms with balconys right on pool side, overall was good except if you did want to have an early night could be hard to get to sleep because of the loud music from the live band in the restaurant.

My room was not as described on the website, i was given a room with no window (A glass bricked up wall in lieu..
Power in the room was not consistant, I had to get fixed eventually.
Room was clean and I did refuse to upgrade at considerable cost but was still not happy as the room booked online was not what I got..
Reception staff do not have a good grasp of basic english, they told me it was impossible to put a call through to my room so as a consequence i did not contact anyone at home as I refused to have a conversation in the lobby with staff and guests about. I did witness other guests doing this..
Breakfast.... the food warmers were not lit until after 1 hour of putting food into them, only when i pointed this out did they light them..
Breakfast was posted for 6:30-10:30 but often at after 7 there was still no food to eat..
This hotel also has singers and bands in the grounds at night until after 1am... if you want to sleep prior to that, then give it a big miss
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
when shopping resist all spuikers selling hotel timeshares (Absolute at $35,0000)and travel clubs (ATC at $6000), ther are plenty of thses around town, normally westerners handing out scratch and win tickets... DO NOT GET SUCKED IN...

Hotel for good location

The resort is located at Patong area , which the beach is just 1-2 mins away. It is very accessible to the shopping area which is 5-10 mins to Bangla street . There are also many night life scenes area the hotel . Plus fabulous good eateries and restaurants as well as massage palours . The cons are that the hotel is under going some renovation and it can be very noisy. Also, my room was located near the band stage and it was very noisy at night , so I could not sleep. However, the hotel receptionist helped to change to a new room the next day which I was pleased with their services . A good enjoyable stay !!
