we had a pleasant stay. to top up our joy, we were offered free upgrade to deluxe pool view rooms.
pros- friendly staff / free wifi / cleanliness / sumptuous breakfast / convenient / 5 mins away from the beach
cons - mosquito / poor housekeeping
** make sure you check the rooms with the staff before check in.
** if you have a choice, do not stay in black 1 & 2 cos the rooms smells and has lotsa mosquito.

Marwan Mynamar the pool side waitress was a gem :) very happy and helpful.
Renovations were going on during out stay, meaning next year when the renovations are finished the hotel will be even more awesome
Restaurant Tip:
the burgers and fries at the hotels restaurant is 150bht even cheaper than getting McDonalds take away. so eat at the hotel, atleats you get to sit down in style and enjoy the music band for half the price of takeaway

It seems as this hotel is under continuous construction or unfinished.
The staff its friendly but not very helpful and the hotel charges for everything they can.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
A boat ride to PhiPhi Island its the best thing to do in the day time. Night time just walk around the bars and enjoy the night life

Refer some of the recent negative reviews had make me really put off and worried before our trip started.
We enjoyed 4 nights in this resort and would say that it was the right choice.Room spacious and clean.We were having smooth checking in & out. Hotel staff were friendly and service promptly.Breakfast buffet had enough to choose from & children enjoyed the pool so much especially the bubble device.
Well, there are minor complaints indeed!Room lights are not bright enough. My deluxe room balcony overlooking squater area, we paid 3380bht per night.Lastly, I sincerely hope the resort management to cancel collecting 3000BHT as deposit for staying. Tourists need to spend cash although the deposit will refund upon check out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good location and easy to shops spot.
Ensure go for island hopping...Phi Phi island,Maya Bay, Khai Island & more beautiful islands waiting for you ...

Hotel seems to be recently build, some works still on the go. Break fast area has no aircon and every night l stayed there there was a band playing live music. If you are tired and get a unit close or facing the band stage you may get annoyed with music till late.
Location wise, its great for entertainment or fun trips, as it is located in the heart of Patong, and some units have sea view with great sunset.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask a staff to check the room with you. I was granted with a free upgraded category at check in but the upgraded room had a smell of "closed room".
Dont miss the swimming pool and its bubble device. Its very nice.

Service was prompt and polite, checked in and out smoothly with airport transfer arranged by the airport. Had a awesome stay at Baan Laimai and will be retuning to Baan Laimai. Good breakfast choices and cleaniness.
Travel tip:
Eat at Restaurant No.6 just further down from Bangla Street, ask the locals if you're not sure where it is. The food is affordable and awesome (try the fish with chilli and garlic and raw prawn).
Starbucks and Mcdonalds are just on the right side of the hotel (when you face the beach). With a awesome Mexican restaurant above Starbucks (Restaurant Coyote).
