Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Phi phi island,maya bay for snorkling trip was fantastic. Must visit phuket and enjoy the night life. Even with your partner and you will enjoy.

patong beach better than we expected. the hotel is in a great location and is well designed. the reception staff and layout is very frustrating. the couter is too small and the whole checking in and checking out takes far too much time. the english spoken by the market stall holders is far superior to that of the hotel reception staff.
also beware of the ocean view rooms at the front of the hotel. they are directly in the sound path of the band which plays until midnight each night and occassionally does a bit of practice after that. pool view towards the back are a quiter option. wifi is very unreliable.

Stayed there a couple of times, pleanty to like good food, good cocktails, good service staff were great.
however the check in procedure takes way too long, there is too much double handling of paperwork and there is no effective organisation in the way the staff go about checking in their customers. it needs to be more streamlined.
Hotel Feature Tip:
if you want to save some money order your drinks at the bar instead of the dining area. the service charge is a little much

i have just returned from phuket where i stayed for 8 nights at baan laimai beach resort and have no hesittation in saying its the best hotel i have stayed atin patong beach it is 50 metres to the beach 5 minute walk to shopping centre has a great pool where coctails are 1/2 price all day (buy 1 get 1 free )will stay here again 4 sure

Staying at Baan Laimai Beach Resort is a memorable experience that is worth remembering and recommending to friends and fellow travellers. The generous swimming pool covers the entire hotel area and sitting on the balcony with a beer in hand makes one ponders early retirement. Right at the heart of Patong Beach, the beach is just across the street and the party area just 5 mins walk away. Service is excellent as the staff is always happy to oblige your every request while the dinner menu offered is by far the best meal I had during my 4 days' stay.

Was upgraded to a pool view room for free, maybe because it took awhile to check-in. Had to pay baht bond which I recieved back on check-out, and baht per night for guest although had payed for double room. The pool area is great, and close to beach. Would stay again in a pool view room.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Massage at Orange Relax across the road from hotel on side exit, recommend foot or thai massage. Short walk to Bangla Rd for night life.

Absolutely loved the hotel staff were friendly the location was perfect right in the heart of patong and opposite the beach however we could never go past the pool n swim up bar. The only thing we would do next time is request a room at the back the noise from the band sometimes got pretty loud and stayed on till 1am. Apart from that really enjoyed it.
