Lovely hotel but bit out the way

I only stayed at this hotel one night after breaking my foot on the over night bid from Bangkok. The owner was lovely & took me to hospital.
The room was nice & big but the hotel was a bit far and no taxi drivers knew of it.

Quiet and spacious feel
Quiet area, on the local bus route (pink striped bus), close to decent restaurants and 20 min. walk to the center town Market and Ocean shopping center.

price is good. tv and ac worked well.
only a couple on staff speak english and hence limited ability to help. they are helpful nonetheless.
i walked a lot. on my last day i learned from an older couple that pink striped buses take you almost anywhere in town for baht 10. a visit to tourist office will be helpful. there are buses to beaches all over the island for b 50 or less. check the timing however, as 5 pm is the last bus that leaves from the beach to phuket town.
i chose because of fellow traveller made the comment that in 15 min everything is accessible.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if you are with a family or two people together it is worth trying as you do not trip over each other. walking distance to aquarium and king rama park

Lovely out of the "tourist zone" place
Friendly people, clean, affordable, great food

great place. no english spoken but adds to the adventure. not near much but if walking is ok then a 20-25 min. walk gets you to many places.
