I booked a long stay online because I was taking a class there, and I regretted this decision after my first couple days at Baan Nitra. Overall the room was not very enjoyable and I didn't have positive experiences with the staff.
As far as location is concerned, I was looking for a place a bit away from party central, and was very pleased. But if you want to be in the hub of the action, don't stay here. In addition, the experience was much more authentic, and the Thai food nearby was legit.
I was excited about the bar downstairs, but there was never anybody there! Just a couple Thai women playing pool occasionally.
The pros: good AC plus a fan and a good-sized bed in a good-sized room. There was an armoir, a dresser, a mini-fridge, a desk, and a vanity table, and the room didn't feel cramped. The bed was nice, firm like most Thai beds. And the AC and fan in combination or separate were great.
The cons: lots of ants, geckos, mosquitoes, and a few spiders always came for a daily visit. There sometimes were little poops from the geckos lining the floor like a twisted Hansel and Gretel trail. A broken drawer and broken armoir door, then a fickle faucet created some frustration. But the worst was when the shower began malfunctioning. Mid-shower, the water would randomly become boiling hot, leaving burns on my skin. It took about two days for me to find a staff member to inform about this, and then nothing was done about it.
Yeah it's inexpensive, but I think the deficiencies of Baan Nitra have other sources. I would not stay again.

so cheap price and so good the house, just two street not far away from the patong beach, and near the 7-11, high stair house is worthy, I can have the beautiful night sight.

the hostel is at a prime location of phuket... 5 mins bike ride to the beach and same for bangla road.. its run by 3 very friendly french guys who were willing to lend a hand at every moment... would most definitely stay at baan nitra if i go to phuket next time..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ask the owners to give you the phone number of Phuket Travel Company, its run by a guy named Andrew Hogg, amazing fellow.. It took him 5 mins at max to arrange sight seeing and attractions trips to pretty much all the places at any time of day.

location is good, but too noize for night. for 6 people, 2 rooms. one room for 4 people, 2 2-level beds. another room for 2 people bit better, one king size bed, more furniture.
Shopping Tip:
Shopping centers down to road in sea direction, via 1km

ห้องพักใหญ่ กว้างขวาง และ สะดวกสบาย
สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกพื้นฐานในห้องพักก็พอรับได้
ถ้าเลือกห้องที่มีระเบียง อากาศจะถ่ายเทได้ค่อนข้างดี
เหมาะสำหรับมาพักผ่อนกับเพื่อนหลายๆคน หรือ ครอบครัวขนาดใหญ่
ทำเลดี สามารถเดินไปช็อปปิ้ง หรือเดินไปชายหาดได้
โรงแรมอยู่ไม่ไกลจากแหล่งท่องเที่ยวกลางคืน
ถ้าคนที่ชอบเที่ยวกลางคืนอยู่แล้วจะสะดวกมาก
ใกล้ๆโรงแรมมีของกินเยอะ หาของกินได้ไม่ลำบาก แต่ราคาค่อนข้างแพง

ห้องพักไม่ได้มาตรฐาน
ใกล้กับหาดป่าตอง เดินทางสะดวก

ผมค่อนข้างผิดหวังมาก ๆ เมื่อไปถึงที่พักที่นี่แล้วพบว่า ที่จอดรถไม่ได้มีเพียงพอแม้แต่จะจอดรถยนต์ 1 คัน แต่ที่ตกใจมากกว่าคือ สภาพห้องที่เก่าและโทรมมาก การติดตั้งพัดลมในห้องก็ไม่ได้ให้ความใส่ใจว่าจะพัดถูกตัวคนรึเปล่า อินเตอร์เน็ตที่บริการฟรีก็ใช้ได้ลำบากถึงแม้ตัวห้องพักกับโมเด็มจะไม่อยู่ห่างกันมากนัก

밤 늦은 시간에 도착해서 예약이 취소되진 않았을까 걱정했는데 벨을 누르니 스탭 분께서 친절히 안내해 주시더군요. (유럽인이며 영어로 대화 하시면 됩니다) 타이 스탭께서 청소도 잘 해주셨구요. 비가 많이 내려서 방이 꿉꿉하며, 곰팡이가 좀 서려 있었는데요 다른 숙소들도 그런 듯 하여 옮기지 않고 여기서 머물렀네요. 개미도 좀 많았습니다. 파통 비치까지 걸어서 대략 20분(?) 걸리는거 같은데 덕북에 아주 조용히 잘 수 있습니다 ^^; 숙소 가는 오르막 길에 오토바이가 많아서 조심조심 다녔구요. 파통 비치 주변에서는 최저가로 생각되네요
이틀만 예약했더니 나머지날 아고다에서 예약할 수 없어, 사무실서 직접 연장 했는데요 편의를 봐주셔서 연장 간신히 할 수 있었구요 그러나 아고다서 예약 하시는것이 더 저렴하답니다.
친구랑 액티비티 즐기실거면 추천이구요, 숙소에서 휴식을 취하시고 싶으시면 비추입니다. (취사 하실 수 있는 곳이 없습니다)

파통 비치에서 푸켓 타운 나가실때 택시나 뚝뚝이 많이 비싼데요 비치 쪽으로 버스가 다닙니다 (버스비는 기억이....굉장히 저렴합니다)
버스 지나가면 손 흔들어 타시구 요금은 나중에 차가 한번 정차해서 운전자 님께서 요금 걷으십니다. 즐거운 여행 되시길...
