Baan Phil guesthouse is located on the main tourisitc streed of Pathong and a very short walk away from the beach. The hotel was just taken over by a new owner and the attention was allright, even though most of the employees did not speak English. Breakfast is just 3 slices of toast and a coffe which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would recommend Baan Phil if you are looking for a cheap but not too bad hotel in Pathong Beach, Phuket.

I was heartly welcomed by the two owners of Baan Phil and was attended very well during my whole stay. The restaurant has decent prices and serves good quantities, the only disappointment was the breakfast that only consists of coffee and three slices of toast, if you do not want to pay extra. The rooms are spacious and clean and the hotel is very close to the sea. I would go back to Baan Phil guesthouse.

Hotel Feature Tip:
Room 101 is right next to the kitchen so may be a poor choice if you are a light sleeper.

Everything is great!! The staff are every friendly and with lots of smiles. Great location, takes about 10 mins walk to the beach. The room is big and clean. They have a nice cafe/bar just facing the road and opposite bars, nice to have a drink with a view. They also served meals. Tey are good.

just stayed 1 night during my stopover to singapore. the guesthouse is very clean. 5min walk to the beach and enough far away to the patong nightlife (10 mins walk)
Shopping Tip:
On the way back to Phuket airport, I stopped at Premier Outlet Mall. Relatively big but the prices were quite normal and not much of a discount.

if you are looking for a nice little escape in the middle of patpong, tne baan phil is a perfect bargain. the staff is very helpful and the rooms are pleasant. the location is almost right in the middle of patong, but without all of the craziness. don't expect much for the breakfast just a coffee and toast, but quite alright as the place is still a bargain

Location is good for beach and the many temporary seafood restaurants at night. It's a bit far from Bangla Rd nightlife though so if you plan on making frequent visits to there you might look for a closer place.

The Baan Phil Guesthouse is located on the main road in Patong. It is on the north side of Patong. It is within walking distance of the beach and the nightlife area. The room I stayed in was medium-sized and had a fridge. The room also had a counter and a small sink, but no appliances. The room was kept very clean. Overall, good value for money and conveniently located.

The staff were always very friendly at this hotel. The room was larger than I was expecting with a good range of TV channels and WIFI. During my stay there was a small problem with the bathroom but once I reported it, it was fixed immediately. The hotel is well located - Soi Bangla and Jungceylon are within walking distance. My only negative comment is that breakfast was quite meagre, consisting of coffee, orange juice and 2 or 3 slices of toast served with butter, jam or marmalade.
