Located on the south end of Phuket, this boutique hotel has only ten rooms, and the accommodations are all intimate and unique. At the Baan Mai Cottages you’ll find five beach front bungalows that are just steps away from the beach and four garden bungalows situated closer to the swimming pool. The bungalows do not have television or phone access, which adds to the remote feeling that is sometimes necessary for complete relaxation. The ultimate accommodations here is the Thai Villa, a teakwood house with three bedrooms and 180 square meters of living space including a living room with satellite television, a stereo, DVD player and library. A wider variety of activities can be arranged from the cottages, including snorkeling, scuba diving, elephant trekking, Thai cooking classes and canoeing. Please note that transportation from the resort to Chalong Pier departs every other hour from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm and the trip takes an hour. Further travel itinerary should be planned accordingly.
