Hotel with traditional Character in Great Location

In going to Phuket for the first time, we looked for a more traditional place to stay, one with character, not just an "L shaped room". Bangtao Beach Chalets met all our expectations. Set on the road just behind the beach ( 3 mins walk away) it consists of about 10 chalets around a little courtyard filled with trees and water features. A peaceful oasis. The chalets are quite simple, but immaculate with aircon which works and spotless bathrooms. Fresh fruit, free bottled water in the fridge replenished daily,internet which works. There is a small swimming pool for lounging around and cooling off in. Breakfast is simple but good.
it is possible to walk everywhere. Beach, restaurants, - and the best coffee in Phutet is two doors away at the Bangtao Cafe - shops and masssge spas.
If you are looking for an Oasis of peace in the centre of Bangtao, this is the place to go.

Good chalet and lovely service.
Petite rooms. Friendly staff.

We had a very pleasant stay. Staff was considerate and when we left for a tour before breakfast was served, they cook personally for us for a takeaway meal.
Breakfast was simple. Room was clean.
Pleasant environment with eco type accomodation.
I would certainly stay here again.
Shopping Tip:
There is a night market nearby. Good bargains and food.

Lovely Hotel
Small hotel with lovely surroundings.

we had only booked one night but ended up staying four nights as we loved this hotel. we were with another family and they also loved it. rooms that look traditional. swimming pool on site and they did not mind the kids using it after dinner. it is a short walk to the beach. the area was very quite as it is low season if you compare it to patong or kata. we went on to stay in four other hotels but this was our favourite in phuket this trip.
Restaurant Tip:
Bliss restaurant on the beach is very modern and we enjoyed this as a contrast to our accommodation. Also had lunch at the Andaman and had a lovely meal overlooking the ocean.
