Bangtao Village Resort Phuket Info
Near the hotel is a Mangrove Forest, Phra Tong Temple, and the Khao Phra Thaeo Wildlife Conservation Center. Also nearby are several beaches, but not Patong, as the hotel is on the opposite end of the island. Bangtao Village offers one of the few reasonably priced accommodation choices in one of the most popular tourist destination of SE Asia. Going around the island is relatively easy by either renting a car or a motorbike, alternatively you can get on a tuk-tuk. The on-site restaurant specializes in authentic Thai dishes, and after a taste you would not be searching for a fast food outlet.

Mosquitoes were a problem.
We enjoyed our first night in BangTao at this resort, however far too expensive for long term rental in the area. Upstairs is better to avoid mossies where there is a good breeze. Staff were courteous and helpful appreciating the fact that you have stepped off a long flight to get there.
Travel tip : Hiring a motorbike to get around Phuket is essential, but make sure the helmet is of good quality and fits.

Great location, great service, clean rooms.
This was a lovely family run place ... we were made to feel very welcome ... rooms were very comfortable and clean, the pool was sparkling and just outside the bungalow, the service and price could not be faulted... all in all an enjoyable stay....a little bit of hidden paradise.... just wish it had been a little longer just a little hard to find at night coming from Phuket airport... will definitely be coming back.
