My friend booked her room through a travel agent and got the same room for $20 less per night with breakfast included and free wi-fi for the whole week we were there. I booked through Agoda and paid more for the room, no breakfast included and $12 a day for wi-fi,,,,what a joke you are AGODA! I know where I'll be booking my next holiday accomodation!

Cute hotel with good location, but a bit noisy.
Excellent pool and breakfast, close to everything in Patong.

The pool is really nice and the facilities in general are very well maintained. Location is key, but noise from the pool and lobby can often be heard in the rooms.
Restaurant Tip:
The Sea Hag restaurant is a great Thai restaurant with good seafood options only a block away.

did a very thorough research before finally choosing banthai. was not disappointed. the location is fantastic, walking distance to wild soi bangla yet far away to be in an isolated heaven. the rooms (superior) are comfortable though a little dated, yet each room has a pool view. overall, good value for money. the breakfast selection is also commendable. try and get breakfast included in your room, else it will cost you approximately per pax. i had an issue since they said that internet is not free with superior rooms. after telling them that it is listed as free on agoda, they gave complimentary internet 24hr coupons. lesson=print out the agoda screen abd take it with you.

Besides having a good location, theservice at the hotel was less than impressive it took more than an hour to check in and anything being requested to the room will take the same amount of time, overall an average experience

Great room, but too noisy

Room was great size and bed fantastic, but very noisy as too close to all the night life. Air conditioner very noisy too that had to switch it off during the night - to sleep but then it was too hot to sleep.
