Water: Hot water was not clean. Sometimes come out with mud and sand in yellow colour. Normally, light yellow but still we have to use.(Date 4 - 6 Nov 09) - no one confirm us there was an repairing work under progress.
Bathroom: Cannot wash dirty hand immediately after toilet as the auto faucet was outside the bathroom. It seems to be a newly opened building/section.
If the building is underconstruction, prior notice should be given to guest, but no staff confirm us about it even we discover the dirty water when we need to bath.

Good hotel to stay but bad manner from one of the front desk staff , the internet is really slow , the hotel is so secure. clean rooms . good room service. good house keeping. good location. and vary good manager. I wrote another review and explain everything . the patong beach is 5 to 6 min. walk. and nice two bars near the hotel and a good pharmacy too. The hotel count 400 baht per day for a very slow internet and count 150 baht for using the business center which I did not like. I've went to a very famous hotels by Agoda like La floora and Maninarakorn and they did not count any fees for using the internet in thier business center and the staff were so sweeti and had a lovly manner but not like Banthai Hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Patong beach is 5 min far from you.

Excellent deal for the price. Very close to Patong Beach and nightlife, yet hotel was quiet and relaxing. The hotel was well decorated and had 3 swimming pools. Excellent hotel for the price. Was four stars, but could have easily been 5. In close proximity to Patong Beach, as well as bars and nightlife. However, hotel was still quiet and relaxing. Hotel area was quite big too... three swimming pools to choose from. No real complaints.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lots of places around the hotel organize sightseeing trips, such as James Bond Island, Ko Phi Phi, etc. You can usually book them the day before.
