Well laid out, polite staff, pretty villas
Now getting old so a lot of things have a used look, insect infested due to the lagoon (esp in the monsoons), not a very imposing reception as would be expected of a luxury resort
The staff were very polite and helpful from the time we walked in. It was a birthday celebration so the hotel even organised a cake, which I thought was very nice of them. The plunge pool and open air bath tub are the highlight. Don't miss the breakfast for a great selection of tropical fruit.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel is a 30 min cab ride to the main part of town (Patong). Stick to the restaurants within the hotels located in the Laguna. There is not much around. If you do fancy travelling to Patong though, the food in the little restaurants by the road is to die for, both in taste and price.

Joint Facilities between big chain hotel
Nice to spend a long holidays there. Hotel area is huge, even bigger when they combine all hotels facilities in Laguna project. You can enjoy many activities inside the Laguna.
Restaurant Tip : You should try Jo's Downstair for dinner and coffee break at Summer Coffee

The service is impeccable. the villa offers absolute privacy.
My partner and myself have thoroughly enjoyed this vacation. In fact, we felt that it was the best vacation we ever had. There are lots of activities to keep us occupied for the 4 days stay and yet provide a relaxing time for relationship nurturing. Also we found a miracle book that was given to us FOC even though we offered to purchase it from the hotel library. This book we will treasure for life and we hv made a commitment to share it and apply the principles therein for the rest of our lives together. The tour to Phi Phi Islands by Laguna Tour was value for money. The fantastic speed boat ride and sumptious snacks and lunch and the wonderful snorkeling experience was beyond words. The trip was well organized and the staff attitude was excellent. The spa experience was absolute bliss despite me being a newbie to spa treatments. We felt all our stress starting to melt away as soon as we step into the serene ambience of the spa. The couple spa facility offers total privacy where we shared a very relaxing and romantic spa experience. A must for newly married couples or couples who seeks to bring back the romance in their relationship.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely should try out the Laguna Tours Phi Phi Islands package. It is real value for money.

If you want local Phuket experiences, you have to go off Laguna property to find it. This can be arranged easily by concierge, but you have to ask. It's first class, and everything is geared to your wnts and needs!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : They were good trying to accomodate our diving requests, and also found us some wonderful restaurants off property that were unique and excelent.

April is the best month to visit Phuket. The weather is reasonable and the local celebration of New Year is amazing!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visiting other islands such as Phi Phi and James Bond island, and other beaches such as Patong.

The breakfasts ensure you don't eat lunch, and you can't wait for dinner on the beach, or in your villa and then breakfast again - then swim in you own pool, or louge in your own outdoor bath or get pumelled in the most sensuous spa anywhere in the world.
Restaurant Tip : The simple restaurant on the beach is cheap and delicious. The Thai cuisine course at the hotel is excellent for the occasional chef. Don't come here for cultural immersion. Come here for rest, peace and to speak to your partner.
