when i arrived my first room was on north wing and extremly noisy due to construction next door,and looked a bit run down. i complained and was moved to the centre building immediatly and the new room was of a high standard and looking over pool area. very nice so if you get the right room it is a great hotel

When I first arrived The room was dark as the curtins were drawn. After a short while i discovered my bed linen had not been changed with make-up on top cover and sheets looking like they had just been slept in. The shower glass door was falling apart and dificult to open and close.
The Gym was smelly. The breakfast lacked variety.( fruit and juice choices were limited.)
The pool was a great size but if you are prone to get bitten by mozzies don't sit near or under palm trees.
After finding the bed linen dirty I questioned the cleanliness everywhere else. Never checked out of a hotel 3 days early before.

The hotel offers very nice, clean rooms at affordable prices. The swimming pool is great, especially for kids. I would definately recommend this hotel to families coming to Patong.

Second stay at Baumanburi
The hotel is beautiful and relaxing, it has a giant pool and outdoor massage service next to the pool.

This was my second stay at this hotel because I remember how nice the hotel appeared, and the staff was exceptional last time. I was surprised that this time one of the staff members remembered me from last year and where I was from. The breakfast is very good and plentiful, and relaxing out at the pool or taking in a massage can make for a great afternoon. The only issue I had was that it is not close walking distance to the main shopping center and the main bar locations, but there is still a lot to do in that area, and a great hotel to stay during a visit to Phuket. I will definitely stay there on my next visit.

Our stay at baumanburi was pretty average.. rooms were nice, well to our standards anyways. they were quite big. Pool was nice had relaxing beds in there. Has a pool bar.. the only thing is that you are not aloud to wear a shirt or singlet or shorts into the pool as it is not bathers or bather material! So that was pretty disapointing as we are not so comfortable about all our flab and bits hanging out haha! Altho it may have gotten mixed up with our mums room next door as we used to take the cups and spoons into each others rooms when we had coffees. Overall its a pretty good hotel and was cheap.
Nightlife Tip:
Watch out on bangla, or anywhere actually sometimes it can be dangerous and i'd advise not to travel on your own at night time.
Also watch out for those gorgeous little kids on the streets selling flowers, as they slyly steal your money!! Dont be fooled!!

Our stay was very nice, the hotel is very well locarted if you and your family is looking for the best spot of the city regarding food, shopping and night life. Close of everything by foot.
Travel tip:
The shopping mall is very close, after a day tour it can be a more tranquil option for food and shopping.

Maubanburi Hotel Review
The hotel has a very good location, just in front of the Hard Rock Cafe, and in a very good spot of Patong beach

Our stay at eh hotel was very pleasant.
The hotel staff is also very kind.
I suggest the hotel for those which a re looking for a hotel closed to the hottest spots of Patong beach with a fare price.
Nightlife Tip:
To rent a motorbike can be very handy to sightseeing around the beach, but the visitor has to have attention to always wear the hard hat and possess an international driving license, since the local traffic police are all the time seeking to cath the foreigners, the local people not always wear the hard hat, and apparently they are not bothered by the local police
