nice location , very close to the beach staff is not at all frendely , rather very rude , well there maneger was very very bad , i believe she should be removed from the hotel , if the hotel has to do good stayes in the hotel , they made a lot of fusss in changing our rooms as the room which they alloted us were really bad , and the maneger just did not no what courtsey meens , she was talking to us as though she wanted everybody to leave the hotel and go , to give us better rooms they wanted more money , in which they started doing barganing , which was a real sorry state , any the delux rooms are nice , the location is nice , if u do not talk to the maneger of that place , its worth staying there .do not take superior rooms take only delux rooms they are good .

The location is good, just walking about ten minutes can reach the beach. The swimming pool is great, a big pool with good facilities. Room repairation is too bad, the first room we arrive, the light was turn down, it suddenly on and off, so we very scare and change to other room. However, same things occur in another room. Good location. Nice room with bath and separate shower. Good aircon. Price a bit to high for low-season. No service at breakfast, no bacon at breakfast not much selection. Pool area dangerous, slippery and has scratchy stones. Pool bar closes at 6pm. My brother stays in this hotel when he comes to Phuket. I have stayed in March last year and May this year. I like the location - you can walk to Jungcelon Shopping centre and to many great restaurants. You can also park at the hotel. I think the rooms are nicely located all facing the pool and the right size. The price was a little high this year and the service lacking a bit seeings as you are still paying high season prices and getting low season breakfast.
Restaurant Tip : Eat at Shakers and the BBQ Hut to the left of the hotel on the same side of the road. have the holiday inn buffet dinner at least once - eat your weight in seafood - to the right and on the other side of the street

swimming pool and swimming area very nice. Lobby nice and clean. Good buffet breakfast Room was very dark, toilet did not work properly. Elevators are small and need paint. I stayed at the hotel for 4 days. When I checked in I realized the toilet was broken. I called hotel staff and notifed them. Nothing was done to fix the problem. They offered to upgrade me into a worse room. The hotel was 50% unoccupied.
The room was dark but clean and modern. The hotel was very quiet. I liked the swimming pool and they had live entertainment at night. The breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly
Travel tip : Quieter area of Patong Beach. 7 minute easy walk to beach. Several conveniece stores next to hotel.

gd location, 5 minutes to the Patong Beach and shopping mall, breakfast is good with many choices of food, good swimming pool with tradtitional Thai decor around.... the superior room is not with garden and pool view, seems an isolated buidling, not connected with the hotel main buidling,facing the streets can be noisy at nits, the bed is not fixed, so easy to move back and forth, not like a decent hotel should be when we arrived the hotel, welcome drinks was very refreshing, the room view is not gd facing the street can be noisy; the breakfast is good, with lots of choices, location is good, can go to the beach and shopping center within minutes by walk..711 is nearby the hotel, easy to pick up some necessities at very late hours.....
Travel tip : Be careful of superior room's view, better not facing the streets

Nice pool, ok room, ok breakfast. Poor service, front staff rude and unhelpful. This hotel is ok but not worth. The breakfast is ok but the service is terrible! Be ready to search for everything yourself! The staff are to busy talking among themselves to help anyone!

Good service, great location, nice rooms, tasty breakfast, nice pool area and I love the spa. We stayed at the Baumanburi Hotel for only 4 nights this time. Just like the year before we really enjoyed our stay. The location is just perfect in Patong beach, not in the smug but just as close so you can take walk. The nice staff and good breakfast is the greatest reason that we chosen to come back. This time I found another reason at that is the new SPA, with skilled masseurs.
Shopping Tip : Just next to the Hotel is the shopping street "O-top" located which I recommend. A bit further down the road you´ll reach "Jungceylon" which is the big mall. Don´t miss the market for locals behind the mall!

Poolside Massages.
Location. The swimming pool is awesome, the poolside massages were also excellent. I liked the location of this hotel, it wasn't too far from the Beach / Night life (5 min walk) but it was far enough away to relax if you wanted a bit of peace and quiet.
We went for the basic room - and it was basic, but clean and comfortable.

Big pool area. Central location in Patong. Walking distance to beach and Jungceylon shopping mall. Very big hotel. Disturbing music every evening in the restaurant/pool area. Big hotel. Many charter traveler from Scandinavia.
Friendly staff in lobby/check in. Buffet breakfast ok but staff not so service minded. Fitness room ok.

great location, excellent pool, great housekeeping and cleaning of the rooms staff do not speak fluent english Hotel was great. Staff do not speak fluent english though. The pool area is lovely but not heated. Breakfast is good also, There is alot of choice and variety. The gym is great and modern and also has a lovely restaurant although the price is semi pricey for us aussie (averaging around 100baht per item) Overall a great place to stay. Have stayed in other hotels and would go back to this one :)

Good rates, near the beach, near convenient stores breakfast could be improved We stayed for 6 days at baumanburi and our experience there was great. The room rates are very competitive and the housekeeping service was very good. Location from the beach is about 5mins walk and the surrounding resorts are also top notch. One thing that could be improved is the conversation skills of the front office officers. It was quite impossible to talk to them even if you are just asking very basic directions as they do not speak basic english. It was a good thing one of the hotel staf was a Filipino and could understand/speak very good english. Another thing they could improve on is the breakfast buffet. During our 6 day stay, they served the same thing so at some point we kinda grew tired of eating the same thing day after day. Pool from a far looks pretty good but be careful when you actually get in. The tiles are sharp from old age i guess, you could cut yourself. Aside from that, our stay was fine.
