Check-in staff was rude. Hotel room was stuffy. Water feater not functioning well. Requested for a room change to deluxe but was told only Grand Deluxe roonm available. Requested to view the room before deciding & was advised to wait for check-out time. When approach counter staff to view the room at 3 pm, was informed that it was not possible as pax has checked-in. Don't understand why agree to toom change if none is available. Reception staff was very accusing and tried to claim for items which she claim was missing from the room. Both item was found to be in the room but housekeeping just did not bother to check. New year's eve dinner was horrendous and breakfast was miserable. Overall experience was bad.

This hotel is 5 mins from the beach. the rooms are spacious and clean. Huge pool area and pool with a bar in the pool. good service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
5 min walk to the beach and in the hub all shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is "adequate".

We called the hotel "adequate".
The staff are very friendly, but slow. There were about 8 staff standing around at breakfast, waiting to take away dirty dishes, but no tables get wiped over and you had to get your own tea & coffee.
The pool area could be very nice, but it was very grotty. Nothing ever got cleaned or wiped over there either.
The food was good.
The biggest winge We would have was the noise. A band played in the restaurant every night until about 11pm and the bar huts in the back road went all night.

really enjoyed our stay , the noise from hard rock cafe was a bit loud at night but they were enjoying themselves as we were , maybe doublr glazing the windows opposite the cafe but otherwise o.k.

upon arrival we found our room to be small, and in desperate need of a refurbishment. In the morning we paid for an upgrade to deluxe room - highly recommend - room fantasic - two double beds, nice area of hotel and large room.

staff were friendly but could not understand alot of english at reception but the wait staff were great and really friendly we travelled in a group of 9 and by the end of our 7 day stay none of us were going to breakfast as it is catered more to indian/japan style even the cereal & yoghurt was awful they need to rethink this badly.we did enjoy but because of these points I dont think we will stay there again.

Forget about the superior rooms. They either overlook a noisy busy road, or are opposite an even noisier Hard Rock Cafe. Booking the deluxe rooms are a must, but even then will hear the house band until 11pm. The amenities are ok, and the pool is nice. Don't attempt practising your Thai language skills with the staff, as most of them seem to be from the Philippines!

Nice hotel with friendly staff

Had a great stay, upgraded for the first two days to a suite which was good because hotel was over booked for the Grand Deluxe rooms. Suite was in need of redecoration though, as was the whole hotel. Grand Deluxe rooms were comfortable but thought that the shower ceiling might be about to fall down and not enough lighting in bathroom. Our friends had a pool side access room which was damp as no sun got into their area of the pool. Pool was nice but cold and the pool bar was good but cocktails were dodgy. Good area only five minutes walk to beach and shopping centre with plenty of food places and bars around.
Overall a good hotel to stay at.

we were piked up from the airport by the limousine driver. he gives a very warm and pleasant welcome to any visitors visiting phuket. his manners and driving skills are excellent.
Travel tip:
Many drinking pubs around the hotel.
