Large Rooms

The Hotel is just off the main street. Below the hotel are a myriad of bars. During the off season the bars are quiet and did not disturb us.
We went scuba diving so were given extra towels at no charge.
When we checked out the desk wanted us to pay 150 baht (5USD) for the do not disturb sign (probably cost 15 baht) as they could not find it (it was on the TV) I explained this but they still wanted 150 baht. Refused to pay and left. Make sure the "Do not disturb" sign is on the door handle!
Restaurant Tip:
Go out of hotel to main street, turn right towards Carrefour. At the C&N Massage/Hotel turn left. Walk 50 metres on the right side corner is a little Thai restaurant, best value and food in Patong!

Bel Aire Resort
Clean, great location - close to the beach and nightlife, friendly staff.

Bel Aire Resort is a good place to stay if you are traveling on a budget. Location is good, very close to everything; beach, nightlife, shopping areas. The room is clean and the staff is also friendly and helpful even though they don't understand/speak English that well. Overall, it was a good experience and we would definitely stay here again.

Staff not as pleasant, as at some other hotels we stayed at, which was very noticable after 4 weeks in thailand. thye say cant have food or drink in room, which is ridiculous, everyone needs to take water in especially when there is no tea or coffee making facilities!

A really nice hotel and reasonable value for money. The staff tried 2 say we did not hand our key in and were going 2 charge us, until my partner told her she deffinatley handed it in. Then they suddenly found it behind the reception. We both thought they were trying to pull a fast one.
Nightlife Tip:
Bangla road is a must see.!!!

Really good for the price
Very central, not too far from the beach, and close enought o all the night life and Bangle Rd without being right in it so you are awake all night with the noise.

We handed the key in in the morning like it says and when we came back they tried to tell us they didnt have it. We knew for sure they did as we remember the group that was checking in at the time. Any other day though and we would have thought we had lost it so just be aware. Overall a good hotel for the price though.

the front office staffs are so friendly, though it's hard for them to speak in English... if i go to Phuket again, i will stay at this hotel again...
Shopping Tip:
bargain at the lowest price you have at the traditional market which is near to the hotel if you want to buy souvenir for relatives, because you'll get the lowest price at market in the Prompthep Cape... happy shopping all...

they have big rooms and very friendly staff. and middle of everything. just a few minutes walk to the beach, bangla road, shopping /souvenier shops , convenience store, drug store etc.

staff were very nice in assisting us to get a cab, depositing bags etc. very helpful. they also have a tour desk so if you need info, just go there.
request for better sheets and yes no hot shower. and no facilities are working like the jacuzzi and no pool as advertised.
Restaurant Tip:
Try to have dinner by the beach at night .
