we stayed there for 4 nights with our 3 kids. the hotel interiors are good, staffs are friendly. being in the center of the city we expected it will more noisy, but we did not feel that disturbed. i would recommend this for our next trips too!

Great Location with poor service

After a long journey, finally we arrive at 21.00pm at the hotel, no problem with the check in. But the Lift is not working (in repair). Hotel only have 1 Lift (max for 5 person). Family room is in the 4th floor. We waited for our Luggage till 23.00 still not coming to our rooms, while our children needs their clothes. So I try to look for our luggage at the lobby on the 1st floor (by stairs). Our 4 luggage still in the cart at the lobby. So I and my wife decided to carry 4 luggages by ourselves to the 4th floor by stairs. while we carrying our 4 luggages, the boys staff just looking with a smile. They didnt help and didnt seems to be feeling guilty of seeing what we are doing. Breakfast was average. Family room was clean, very big room with two hard queen size bed,and small bath room. The Air con was broken on the last day of our night. On the 1st night, there was 3 drunk men was drinking, shouting, singging in the next room and outside of our room. We can hear our neighbour and loud music from the bar from the street at night.
Shopping Tip:
go to Jungceylon Mall, 10 minutes walk from the hotel. there a lot of food, and shopping arcade. Also Big C supermarket, if you want to buy some drink or fruits (Durian,Rambutan, manggo, papaya, ect). Try the noodle stall on street near the hotel. also there is a tour stall (surprise tour) with best price in front of 7-11(open 24 hour)near the hotel, if you want to book a tour.

Booked the family room for 5 nights.
Advantage of staying here is the rooms are big, the housekeeping clean daily.
Disadvantages are :
1) Hotel staff are not friendly
2) No Wi-Fi (purchased 100 baht for 2 hrs but redundant cos the network is useless!)Can only use free @ lobby
3) Noisy at night cos a lot of bars located in front of the hotel
4) Rooms have got no necessities like boiling kettle, hairdryer
5) No instructions on the use of safe in room
6) No umbrellas to borrow
7) No free shuttle services
8) The jacuzzi located on the roof is small
9) No airing of live football matches except Audio only!
For muslim travellers, please do not be fool by the logo "halal" which is on the restaurant opposite the hotel lobby. Please check the menu cos they serve pork!

Was there with my mate and 2 kids, booked 2 rooms online. Reached their and realise that one room offers a double bed and a single bed. Should have just booked one. The rooms are big and location is good. Not the best I stayed but also not the worst. However downside is you have to pay for wifi and also for safety deposit box. Gym is not included in the hotel. You must pay extra 150 per entry. Which is a huge disappointment for me because the main reason I got this hotel is because of the gym. But the wifi alone is enough to prove a disappointment as they don't provide free as I believe almost all of hotel in patong provides that.

A good location and lovely pool and garden areas. The Chatrium staff were helpful and friendly and views from both our room and the breakfast restaurant were spectacular....as were the lovely hot showers!! A great stopover to view the city life along the river and easy access to many popular areas of Bangkok. Would happily say here again.
