Nice quiet family getaway
Away from all the noise in the city. Very secluded area . We enjoyed the pool, although not very huge but enough. Bed was very comfy

We had a 2 bedroom suite which had a common family room and self catering kitchen which faced the gardens. Kids loved having their own tv in their bedroom. Our king size bed was huge. Toddler slept with us and you couldn't tell. Very comfy bed. They went out of their way to service us as we requested food at the poolside which they normally don't do. But did it when my husband enquired whether it was a five star hotel. Service at check in was great.

Location is good but dissapointed with the hotel

The hotel is big, two different buildings across the road, we were assigned on the other side of the road, although not a problem as there is a security guard who always assist you when crossing the road and ket the cars or motrbike stop so we can cross the road to go to the main hotel building where the restaurant and reception is. Location is perfect if you want to have a quite area and as being located at the Laguna which makes your stay special. But at the hotel itself has nothing to offer. When we just arrived we had lunch at the Pad Thai restaurant but the waiter ended up selling services outside of the hotel....ie he has a sister who can come over to our room if we want to have a massage or his brother has a restaurant just close to the hotel if we want just let him know so he can book for us. It was nice of him to do that so at least we have options but it made us wonder why he had to promote outside services rather than where he actually working. The next day, we went for a swim at the main hotel pool and we were waiting for someone to approach us (like any other hotels...may it be 4 star..) for drinks or something as there is this beautiful restaurant by the pool but the waitress said they are not serving at the pool side, we have to sit at this restaurant if we want to have drinks. We also went for breakfast several times at the Pad Thai restaurant, we noticed that the staff rarely smile, no eye contact, food is below average. Our room were assigned at one of the connecting rooms wherein you can hear literally noise from the other room. One night we were sleeping and we woken up by a burnt smell and had to searched all around the room where the smoke and smell coming from and realized it was just coming from the next room...smoking cigarette.
We are thankful to the shuttle bus and ferry boat that goes around the Laguna area and able to go to other hotels there, like Banyan Tree, Angsana, Dusit. You can use their facilities but need to buy day pass.

Clean but outdated

Stayed here for one night after staying at the more expensive located across the lagoon. The hotel is much cheaper than its neighbours, but it's also far less luxurious and far more outdated. Seemed to cater to the big tour bus visitors mostly. That being said, it was clean and the bathroom had been recently renovated, so no real complaints. There's nothing much in the area besides the golf course, so the only real reason to stay here is if you need a cheap option for accommodation for a wedding or function held at one of the other expensive resorts (you can take the free shuttle between resorts).

It's a great location where it's based I play golf this golf course is the best around the area really close to the beach and you can get a massage if you want the dining is grate Pool area is really really good and you can't beat the food and wine the shops not far away and plenty of shop to be done the rooms are excellent and clean and very large

Put tip on the bed four cleaner 100 Bart

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. The main reception and dining areas are in need of major refurbishment and breakfasts are very poor. View over the lagoon to beach is magnificent and small boats regularly taxi people to the beach or other hotels
free of charge. We have been coming to Phuket for years.

Good part of the allamanda resort

Stayed 5 nights fine tried to extend by 1 more night . Booked allamanda resort by mistake .i
That part of the complexes is being renovated , dusty noisy smelling builders every were.everything you don't want about a hotel .. The hotel business is about putting people to sleep ... The manager of the intercontinental Hong Kong told me that ....not taking money and asking you to fill out a reward reveiw
This the last time I will tell you this give a refund or unsubscribe .thanks.

room was very dated,
over priced for what & where it is.
the area is a closed area so everything is over priced
staff nice & polite at counter
dont rent a motorbike there as they want 500 a day when you can rent in patong for 150 a day
Travel tip:
unless you like old places that are over priced this is a no go of all the places i have stayed at in thailand

What an amazing place

The area of laguna is the perfect place to really enjoy phuket, and this hotel is one of the best ways to do it, the stuff is really good and usefull. Ghe place is amazing. You can catch a little ferry to cross the lagun from the hotel to the beach and have a beautiful sunset view. A am so happy with my time spent in this hotel
