Whilst the hotel is in a pleasent location with easy access to the beach it is need of a re-vamp (well at least the room we had was).
This said the price we paid didn't make me feel that we had been ripped off, although if we didn't get the discounted price from agoda then I would feel different.
Travel tip : Don't pay too much for the taxi from the airport. We got charged 400 Bart which considering the distance (unknown to us at the time) is far too much. Try and haggle for 200 as this is a more resonable price.

Good value for money and nice swimming areas reception and dinning area need up dating Had a enjoyable stay at The Best Western Resort.Good value for money,accomadation good and three nice swimming pools.Reception and dinning area's could do with smartening up,a bit dated,but didn't spoil my stay.Quiet a few steps,so not recomended if your not good on your feet.Would stay again.

To many steps to walk up to the elevator area,This place charges 1000baht if you meet a lady even though when you book with Agoda travel site it says per room not per person.The internet cable in the room did not work and was told to use the foyer site to log on.I bet even now it is not fixed Way to many steps for anyone with mobility problems,The renovations going on in this place make it a early wake up even Sunday morning at 8am banging and electrical equipment going most of the day..Was extremely noisy and will be for several more months by the looks of it.I stayed at this place in June 2009 for 4 days,4 days to many that is for sure. These renovations make a holiday there a nightmare.The smell of the room was that terrible smell from air conditioning,it was awful
