- close to airport, and away from the large centres - very well maintained grouds and pool - staff were fabulous - rooms were exceptionally well maintained

- enforcement of not removing beach towels from the beach chairs that were not being used. Signage indicated that unused lounge chairs would not be saved if unattended after 1 hour. There were several lounge chairs not used all day but had towels sitting on them, owners of the towel would attend for maybe a hour late in the day but never used the lounge chair allday.

Beautiful beach and pool, staff at the resort were extremely polite and helpful when ever you asked their assistance. Would recommend this location to anyone wanting to go to Phuket as it was in close proxmity to airport, not a long taxi ride across the island to get to airport. Beach and pool areas were extremely well maintained. Restraunt had best breakfast options available from all the hotels we visited on our 4 week vacation. Dinner meals provided exceptional Thai or alternate options for all visitors.

Hotel Feature Tip : Close proxmity to airport and away from the hustle and bustle of larger centres

nice hotel, clean, quiet

gym too small

nice hotel, nice room, nice beach (although a little bit small). food at the restaurant is not so expensive, of course much more than the beach bars next to the hotel, but quality is different. really good hotel if you want relaxing vacations, if you want to enjoy nightlife then you should go to Patong

The hotel is very nice, clean, direct on the beach and good value for money

The are were the hotel is located has not much to offer. so don't stay here too long. Internet access is only available with cards and quite expensive, if you only need it for 10 or 20 minutes.

A good place for couples and families to recover for four or five days. The hotel offers two large swimming pools and is located directly to the beach. At the poolside and beach enough sunbeds are available. The restaurant offers both european and thai food, however if you want real thai food its better to go outside. Rooms are OK and cleaned well.

Restaurant Tip : For real local food, leave the hotel and follow the road to the south, be careful in the dark. After a 500 mtr. you will find some real thai restaurants.

The pool

Not a great place to go wandering off the hotel property. Not much to see walking around, except for being pestered by locals trying to get you a taxi or to get you in their store. Breakfast was not very good. The word cheap comes in to mind.

Upon entering the hotel, there was a loud scandal taking place at the front desk. I felt a bit apprehensive if we had made a good choice, but we were treated politely by our agent. The room was nothing grand, spacious enough, but i felt for the price I paid, it should have been nicer and cleaner. We asked the concierge were to go, walking distance, and he seemed confused and not able to direct us. We went on our own and found the street to be empty and only got pestered by locals trying to get us to come in their stores/restaurants. We then decided to leave a day earlier, which proved an impossible feat. They upgraded our room for the night finally and agreed we'd check out the next day. The following day, they had no recollection we were supposed to check out and insisted we would be charged for the night. To be quite honest, I'm not sure if it was some sort of miscommunication or they really just wanted to charge us another night.

Bang tao village has numerous local restaurants which represent great value. The beach is a calm oasis with many beach bars to break up a long walk with a refreshing drink.

Shopping Tip : About 200 metres around the corner is an artists gallery where you can get first class oil paintings. Chili Art is run my a husband and wife team who are very helpful. Very good prices as well.

Stayed at this hotel on arrival to Thailand, attempted to book on the way home as it was close to airport.

Travel tip : Beach was away from the large centres where you have hundreds of people on the beach.

We had a room opening on to the pool, which was absolutely lovely. While the Resort is a little way from Patong there is transport available from the Resort. We had 2 kids aged 2 and 1 and found the staff and the facilities to be very child friendly. It had a very family friendly atmosphere.

Hotel itself is nicer than its surrounding beach (had difficult access and sand had green mould on sections). There is no sand to lie on as all deck chairs are for grass area with trees above blocking the sun. Shame, as its such a nice hotel.

Tranquility of the beach. And beautiful sunset view of flat panel televisions.

Not enough taxis for guests at night hear the open side of the room door closed shop much less a hotel page.

If like quiet beaches and the long run can walk and view the beautiful sunset in one impression. This hotel is considered to satisfy the committee who like swimming, if it considered very good. It has a swimming pool. The store, near Andaman Satisfactory taste. Because the majority of customers are foreigners. Taste is moderate. Should not be sarcastic at times - hotel parking page is quite narrow. The hotel is far from the city. (Market) ratherั considerably as the car park next hotel is quite narrow. The hotel is far from the city. (Market) rather If no private cars will not be easy, but What Car shuttle bus back to town the morning afternoon.

Restaurant Tip : Restaurants Andaman Sea. Area near the hotel and walk along the beach to the left when turning to the sea.
