Location & now I'm struggling for another two

Okay but room very tired & in need of maintenance complained several times about bedside lamp not working & shower required fixing but nothing was done.

Ordinary resort, noisy location, very poor service

We were two couples, one, us, with a 6 months baby.Blue garden resort spoiled our vacation. Our friends left after the first night, they went to the rsotr rigth in front Blue Garden: much better, seaside, cheaper. We stayed because they did not want to refund our money (they asked for all the stay payment in advance!!!) and we did not want to pay twice. The owner is arrogant and unpolite, the staff slow and lazy. They did not show up at the airport as requested (we arrived at 2AM! remember that we have a baby!). They did not provide the craddle as requested. They did it after three days and it was better they did not. it was a rusty bed that was used as drying rack. They simply painted. They did not clean it or change the metress that was broken dirty and worn (always left outdoor with the bed). Can a 6 months baby sleep there? of course not! Always late in tyding yo the room, they have not change towels and bed linen for one week. Once I left the toeals on the floor and I found them again naged on the rack . They were not able to organize a transportation to the airport, We asked at our friend resort and they did it in a while! The swimmning pool is dirty. If you do not want to put your vacation at stake avoid Blue Garden Resort in Phuket!

i had booked the blue garden as i had a client staying in a nearby more upmarket hotel and i didn't expect much. it was a pleasant surprise to find that this small place had everything needed for a relaxing stay in the bangtao area. the french management were friendly and obliging. the rooms are motel style, a little small but comfortable. all rooms are by the pool and sunlounges. pool or beach towells are provided each day. there's a restaurant, free wifi and it's only a short 2 minute walk to the beach. there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants in the immediate area and it's easy to arrange transport to other places on the island should you feel the need. i think i have discovered a little gem here which i recommend and will return to when i have the chance to visit phuket again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Head down to the beach mid afternoon to see the elephants - sometimes walking along or swimming in the sea with their handler. Might cost you a small tip to be photographed with one but how many times do you have the chance to hug or feed a baby elephant?
