Boat Lagoon Resort Phuket Info
Part of a large marina complex, guests at this resort often dock boats there and use the location as base to explore the Andaman Sea. Located next to the marina, the resort is 20km from the airport, and jsut eight from Phuket town. The Boat Lagoon Resort offers a wide variety of accommodations with architectural touches that reflect Thai, Shino-Portuguese and Balinese styles. The property is fully equipped and aside from the 300-plus luxury rooms, there are also serviced apartments and low-rise condominiums with available broadband Internet access. A supermarket, shopping area, ATM machines, restaurants, fitness center, sauna, swimming pool, tennis court, jogging track and park are also located on the premises. The resort also includes excellent dining venues, all of which are open till midnight. Boat Lagoon Resort provides an excellent accommodation choice on the largest Thai island.

The Phuket Boat Lagoon features one of the island's favourite restaurants, the "Port of Call" delicious food, outstanding service, live music, a wide range of drinks, plus the opportunity to lean out and touch the multi-million dollar craft. Not forgetting the traditional Thai welcome and our famous smile. There's also integral shopping village with many outlets including a supermarket and a continental cafe/bakery. There's another restaurant at the clubhouse and, of course, the friendly room service menu. Combine amenities for even the lengthiest of stays. No wonder so many of the guests are permanent residents.

All staff are very friendly and helpful especially the receptionist.
Breakfast is quite simply
Definitely want to be back if have chance as all staff are very friendly, helpful, and quick response to our special requested. The room is clean and nice view (garden + swimming pool). Location is not far from the airport.
Restaurant Tip : Just a few minutes to Leam Hin / Krachang Pla. The food are fresh and tasty.

has a lovely pool and a good gym area.
They need to become more proactive in addressing the areas around the restaurant. Breakfast is a very low key sort of event with food not replenished until asked, coffee luke warm and ambience very disinterested.
Teh boat lagoon is a mid priced hotel for Phuket which suffers a little from the fact it on the other side of the island from the 'action'. This can be a bonus and allow a very relaxing respite from Phuket night life. IT is situated within a marina which has many yachts and motor boats and next to the royal Phuket marina - which has some wonderful restaurants and bars.
The rooms at the Boat Lagoon are very nice and spacious, with the usual facilities. Teh breakfast restaurant could be with a face lift since it has been that way for a number of years now. However, it does look out over a lovely long swimming pool and the yahcts of the marina.
The staff are lovely and very friendly and speak very good english.
overall a nice mid ranged hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a car and get yourself around Phuket as taxi's start to become expensive.

Great for boaters or if you need an overnighter while you plan to do day trips to nearby islands.
quite a way from the beaches and nightlife.
Ideal location if you want to go on several boat trips from Boat Lagoon or Royal Phuket Marina.
We found it great as we keep our own boat in the marina - handy to stay in a hotel next door while it is often raining or unpredicable weather during mossoon season, so we can hope on the boat if the day is ok, or head elsewhere for shopping/spas when the weather close up.
Ideally you need a rent-car to stay independant on taxis. No taxi stand nearby but you can hail from the road (especially if go to Phulet town) or hotel staff will call in one.
Restaurant Tip : Go to Natural restaurant in Phuket town - best Thai food and very pleasant rural ambience.
