Just Perfect
Great service, lovely room, right on the beach

I have nothing but good things to say about the Boathouse. It was still low season so we got a great deal on the room. Spent our days on the beach making use of the hotels deck chairs. The hotel attendants bring you cold bottled water, cool towels and fruit. Our room was nicely decorated, comfortable beds and had its own balcony and deck chairs.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The beach club serves great meals and cocktails.

Superb Beach-side Location

the staff are very friendly, confident and helpful. the coffee is excellent (can be a big problem with hotels in asia). some of the best thai food around is to be had at the hotel (give the nearby 'cheap' restaurants a miss if you care about good, local food.) the room was very well cleaned. the hotel is right on the beach (there is no road between the hotel and the beach) and all rooms have seaviews. the hotel also has only a small number of rooms allowing for a more personalised service.

Great location
well look after by staff on the beach-baech chairs, towels, umbrellas and nice cold water

The room was adequate and looked right out onto the beach. The hotel staff was unobtrusive yet always on hand, whether it be checking flight details or attending to us on the beach. We also enjoyed and appreciated the plate of fresh fruit left in our room each day.

good place with nice view

I had been there for 3 nights which were quite wonderful. I like the room and beach very much as the room is always with a romance aroma and the beach is with nice view and good beach service. In the morning, have a good breakfast facing beautiful sea. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxed time lying on the beach chair. If you like shopping or dinning, suggest to stay at Patong beach, which will be more convenient and of choices. Kata beach will be more suitable for quiet stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Raya island is very nice. In terms of location and view, I think it better than PhiPhi

Boat House

One of my favourite hotels. Its lovely location on Kata beach, with its beautiful terrance, where you can dine to the sound of the waves, and very friendly service, still make the boat house a special place.
However the rooms are a little bit poor - uncomfortable beds, over-stuffed foam pillows, all a bit old and shabby for the price (with free internet which was too slow to bother with during my stay), and the dining quality vs price is mediocre rather than the world class experience to which it aspires.
But still agreat place.

Mom Tri's boathouse
The whole place was excellent, service was superb, the rooms were lovely, food was great.

This was one of the best places i have stayed, the staff were so helpful and friendly and really couldnt do enough for you, the breakfast was delicious and the room was great. The location was great too, really close to the town. Really cant think of anything i didnt like about this place.

Hotel management need to stop trading off the reputation of the dining awards at their restaurant. We arrived at the hotel at 2 am in the morning. Transport was 1400 baht, double of most comprable hotels in the same area. This is our 6 visit to Kata and Katathani beach hotels. The room was very disappointing and we chacked out for the next 11 days to the Katatani Beach Resort and Spa. Absolotely amazing, rooms 100% better. Disappointment that the manager did not try resolve our disappointments directly.
Restaurant Tip:
I suppose dining if you do not stay in the hotel

We had an amazing stay at Mom Tri's Boathouse!!! We were there in low/rainy season, so the prices were excellent. The room and common areas were beautiful. We lucked into perfect weather, which was great for enjoying the private beach chairs and umbrellas. The front desk staff was very helpful in arranging day trips for us. I would highly recommend this resort, especially in low season when you can get a great deal.

The hotel was "like" coming in heaven.The location directly on the beach was fantastic.Every day a staff arranged one sunbed - gave us cold ice water the hole day - asked if everything was okay.Very gentle persons.Our room was very nice - clean and every evening the servant arrange flowers - candles.The people in the reception was very kind and helpsome - arranged trips for us. We had a very pleasant and relaxing holiday - we can recommend this hotel.
