Excellent service Guest Rating: 4.2

Although its the low season, the hotel was nearly full. Started with a room that didn't have a view, but soon we got upgraded and transferred by the manager. The staff made our stay really memorable. Furthermore the wine list were quite amazing. We spent loads of time by the 2 wonderfully landscaped pools. There are little cosy corners here and there. Surprisingly very quiet although its next to a main street and a stones throw away from the beach. Overall very relaxing stay for us.

What a disappointment. We stayed at 5 different hotels on our recent trip and this was one of the more expensive and certainly the least impressive. Burasari - make your rooms look like the website or no one will reccommend this place. The cafe is lovely and we did do a cooking class there that was excellent also. I wanted to sit back and relax here and it was not possible. A lot of noise from the road to the pool area also.

Location is good if you want to be close to the beach and action. Burasari have a great website , very impresive - the rooms fail to meet the websites image.

The room was stained and dirty. Old furniture and in need of a good paint and refurb. The pool was the same and the balcony. The website portrayed a luxury boutique hotel - it failed miserably.

The breakfast area is really nice and comfortable. The service are OK. However, the swimming pool is too deep for the young children to play in it.

Brasura is an overall decent hotel. You can tell that in its day it was a very nice resort. The decor is very pretty but very run down. In terms of cleanliness the hotel left a bit to be desired -- this can be directly attributed to its location. The hotel is conveniently located a few steps to the beach and right in the middle of the action. If you want to be in the heart of things the location is great. I want to stress the friendliness of the staff. They were all so kind and helpful.

The Burasari Hotel leaves me no pity for my stay in Phuket. And my hubby likes it too! It's very convenient for traffic and sight seeing and shopping, and the massage of the hotel is so great! Hope I can get a better view room next time when I am there!

The hotel is very convenient by sitting near the Patong Beach, two minutes by walking and 10 minutes to the shopping center and 15 minutes to Simon show! And every staff is nice and they gave us a honeymoon cake/fruit plate and a birthday cake for my hubby! The classic room is nice and clean and the bed is the most comfortable one I have ever slept on! I will stay there again when I go to Phuket next time.

Te public swimming pool was not so clean and there was some construction noise from nearby.

• Hotel Feature Tip : I recommend the massage of the hotel! The ladies are so skillful and we were so enjoying the whole process!

This was a great and beautiful hotel with great service, a knowledgeable kitchen team that presented their food with pride and very friendly bell and reception staff. A hotel to indulge.

• Restaurant Tip : There are great cheap eateries on the side streets, off the beach. There you can find fine food for under $3

Burasari Blunder Guest Rating: 3.3

Staff did not know what 'hospital' meant, and took the seriousness of the situation very casually without assisting. There is trouble in paradise people. So if your worried you need to go to the hospital is a rush, don't count on them. Rooms in the far back are horrible and the elevator smells.

• Hotel Feature Tip : If you have the money - the rooms with pool access look better. The location is really close to the beach, but the hotel on the outside looks substandard.
