Welcome with beautiful flowers around our necks served with a refreshing cocktail welcomed by very friendly staff shown to our room where a complimentary basket of fruit was given to us. Was a very welcoming touch. Enjoyed the happy hour cocktails. Such a great place to stay, i will be choosing to stay here again on my next visit.

Wonderful apartment with attentive staff with terrific english. Nothing was too much trouble. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, though still walking distance if your so inclined. Very short walk to the beach. Loved it here and would recommend to my friends. Hope to return soon.

A wonderful place to stay in Patong. Beautiful facilities. Great breakfast buffet and restaurant. Rooftop pool (shaded by a tall building in the afternoons). Wonderfully comfortable and stylish rooms with discrete air conditioning and original paintings. Don't hesitate - just book!

i chose byd lofts based on both good and bad reviews of the hotel and the manager's response to both reviews. we stayed in the deluxe apartment that was equipped with a kitchenette and had a big balcony. the furniture and fittings were of high quality and the apartment was lovely and comfy although the deluxe apartment bathroom does not come with a bathtub unlike advertised on agoda. perhaps the management can rectify the description of the room on agoda. we informed the front desk that we are muslims and the hotel made sure that we had many suitable food items for breakfast. they had a muslim staff (ayub) who could speak malay so we felt very welcomed there. the staff were caring and friendly and we were well taken care of. the location of the hotel is also within short distance walk to the beach (5 mins), bangla road (15 min) and jungceylon shopping centre (20min).
Restaurant Tip:
for those looking for halal food, kusuma restaurant is just 200m away alongside the main road. turn right towards main road and on right side you'll see food stalls in the evening. kusuma is somewhere in the middle. the food is good and price very reasonable.

Great place to stay in Patong. Located far enough away from the noise of the nightlife, but still accessible. Just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of small, local restaurants in the area. Wonderful staff made the stay enjoyable; they helped to find/reserve accomodations farther up the coast. Restaurant had incredible food; clean, tasty and breakfast buffet had a great selection.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Room even had an internet modem and a port for my iPod connected to their stereo system. I was able to surf the net and play my music selections for relaxing. Great features.

i've been to phuket many times and byd lofts was the best hotel i've stayed in. important things to me are a comfortable bed, good shower, good a/c, and quiet, and byd delivered on all counts. possible con: 15 minute walk to bangla road. other pros: friendly staff (of course, it's thailand), coffee maker, beach towels, drinking water replenished each day, extra pillows, huge bed.
Restaurant Tip:
9th floor restaurant, very close to byd, is best in town -- not cheap though.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a car, it helps u see Phuket in a different light compare to the hustle and bustle of Patong.
