Great hotel for kids
Childrens pool and facilities. Size of deluxe rooms great for family of 5

we had a wonderful stay. the only con was the taxi charge back to the airport. try and keep the number of the taxi driver from the aiport to use on you way back. centara charge double and there is no other option. the kids loved the shallow pools, slides and lazy river. the play room is great too.

Fantastic mid level seaside resort
Next to an excellent beach, not too crowded yet convenient

staffs are all friendly, polite and helpful in every aspect. rooms are great, the pool facilities are okay and the beach is one of the best in phuket. however i would have like more restaurant selection within the properties. never the less, all in all, my family and i had a great stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Canoeing in Phang Nha Bay in the caves and hidden lagoons is a must do.

Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket

The room is too small and drainage ditch at the bathroom floor was very noisy when people at the other rooms were taking a shower. There was not enough basic facilities provided: no clock, no desk, no memo pad or pencil. The breakfast was appalling. There was no hot food or cooked food provided, except some cold boiled eggs

Fantastic for families with small children.
Lazy river & slide for the kids. Right on the beach!!

as a young famalie with two small children 4&5 this hotel was perfect! away from the hustle and bustle of patong but karon not to far away if you are after some shopping or nice resturants. this was our first time of staying out of town and to be honest after discovering the centara this place will be our yearly break without a doubt. staff were lovely, kids club staff excellent with the kids.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Great little waves on the beach for boggey boarding can rent from drink stall on the beach.

good location with lots of fun in the pool

We love it. The room is spacious. The pool is big and fun. I love the Lazy River with jumping point. Breakfast is good (even though not the greatest)
The only thing that I don't like here is that you have to pay for WiFi access.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Coral island is only 15 minutes away. you can spend whole or half day there. Nice and quiet.

Greatest hotel I stay ever
Very great sea view, great swimming pool and lazy river

i stayed in ocean view room which can see very awesome sunset from the room, the room is also big and beautiful, however since it is next of the mountain, so you can easily seeing some ants in the room. and quite many insects outside the room.
the hotel location is a bit not convinence, you will need a walk on a car road for 1-2 minutes first before going to the karon beach, when you walk at night time it may be a bit scary, you will need a torch with you. ( or iphone with light app )
to conclude , i still like this hotel very much with you should try staying here

Swimming pools are great, total 5 types of pools here! You and your kids must love them

Good location, but cramped and opverpriced.
Great beach front location

can not get away from the "mega resort" feel of this place.
huge dinning halls and kids play pools.
they have cramed as much gear into the rooms i.e. desk / bath tubs / wardrobes etc to try to meet a 4 start rating , but all this does is make the rooms cramped and over priced.
not a bad "3 sar family style resort hotel", but not for the descering traveller.
my reservation was lost, and no room available when i checked in - long wait in the lobby wiuth several other guests while they tried to sort it out

Great hotel for relaxing and having fun at the same time. Our family loves the pools and jacuzzi, my kid loves sliders. Great service too.
