i really enjoyed the swimming pools which was a trump card for the hotel. i would have appreciated free wife/lan in the rooms because the 3 star hotel i stayed in on the same trip had that available.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Room Service can be expensive, but they allow you to order from the kids menu which has similar sized meals at about half the cost.

Good location, but cramped and opverpriced.

can not get away from the "mega resort" feel of this place.
huge dinning halls and kids play pools.
they have cramed as much gear into the rooms i.e. desk / bath tubs / wardrobes etc to try to meet a 4 start rating , but all this does is make the rooms cramped and over priced.
not a bad "3 sar family style resort hotel", but not for the descering traveller.
my reservation was lost, and no room available when i checked in - long wait in the lobby wiuth several other guests while they tried to sort it out

Great hotel w good service, w. a few hickups

The hotel is well placed by the beach, and with multiple pools for all ages and interests. Very family friendly hotel. Plenty positive to be said about service and staff too.
Hick ups noticed was a few different ones:
2 o clock at night i got woken up by a staff who entered my room after 1 ring on door bell, asking whether I was checking out! I complained in the morning and was told it would be reported in the morning to GM/management and that I would hear more. I never heard from them....
Came for checkin at 1330, but was told would be another 2 hours before I could check in.... When I later myself wanted late checkout (was there 2 weeks) they denied it with the "hotel busy" story - but DID finally agree to 1400 after I pointed out the 2 AM "visit" as well as my own very late check-in.
Many whirlpools in this 5 star resort are either not working, or working badly.
Breakfast buffet is great - but there are ALWAYS lines by the egg making counter (this is low season). Make more counters, or prepare more standard (fried eggs/omelets) for people to get without wait. As a positive; morning buffet only close at 1100 - great for lazy holiday mornings.
In restaurants at buffets/breakfast the always friendly staff also had an annoying tendency to never notice what's missing (salt, pepper, cups - even cutlery after they removed it them selves but never came back with new).
Minibar refill of coffee/teas/water Etc. needed constant reminders, and was even asked if I had taken 2 laundry bags from room at checkout, as they wanted to charge me 400 Baht for them.... Problem was of course that they NEVER came back with laundry bags after I had handed in laundry, and even had to call for bags myself after first 2 laundry deliveries.
Pool bar was nice, but service often very slow - waiting about an hour on 2 salads Etc.
Overall a good hotel for family (I had family visiting hotel in other rooms) but still have room for improvements as mentioned above.

Centara Grand Beach Resort Phuket,
Absolute beach front. Good dining options.

.A very large resort with administration short falls.Intermittent water and power troubles through out.An ardous walk to town centre. OK if you just want hang out there.
Nightlife Tip:
If you can find the Lunar bar- due to very poor signing (above the italian restaurant), a great place to hang out.

リゾート型の大型ホテルで滞在中は心地よくのんびりできる。
ただ、今回のステイに関しては最初から部屋の手配の間違いがあり
手続きなどで長時間待たされたり、非常に手間取った。
その他に関しては特に問題はなく、部屋もきれいにしてあり、プールビューの
ジャグジーは非常にラグジャリーな気分になれた。

신설 호텔이라 객실 상태가 깨끗하고 욕실이 넓어서 사용하기 편리했으며 바다를 바라보는 전망도 훌륭했습니다 수영장 시설은 기대보다는 작았지만 아이들이 좋아할 만한 유수풀이나 미끄럽틀 다이빙 풀 등이 있어서 하루 정도 즐기기에는 충분했습니다 조식 또한 5성급 호텔 답게 퀄리티가 높고 종류도 다양하고 맛도 좋았습니다 (다른 호텔조식과 비교했을 때도 매우 우수했습니다) 체크인 이전과 이후에 피트니스센터에 있는 락커룸과 샤워실을 이용하였는데 편리하고 시설이 매우 깨끗했습니다 단점은 우기라 그런지 수돗물 상태가 좋지 않아 샤워나 세안 시에 조금 찝찝하더군요
Shopping Tip:
호텔에서 제공하는 셔틀버스 서비스를 이용하여 바통이나 정실론으로 갈 경우 비용도 절약되고 시간 보내기도 매우 좋았습니다
