Old hotel, average service, but decent value
Cabana rooms have a personal jacuzzi

stayed here 3 nights in a cabana room. room was large but old and needed some repairs. a lot of package tourists through the hotel so the staff were stretched and service was average for thailand. value for was ok but not fantastic. would look for other alternatives in the future.

Loved this resort would defintely go back, very close walking distance to everywhere we needed to go including the beach.
3 pools and swim up bars would defintely go back again !!

the hotel is old and the room is very small and older facilities. location is just ok but not near the beach.

Beautiful Place

it was beautiful... we were showed to our cabanas using the buggy. the staff that followed us, showed and explained to us on every corner of the room. it was indeed very helpful as there were lotsa switches...and an ideal place for our honeymoon and we stayed there on our last 3 nights during the 1 week stay in phuket.
the jacuzzi pool is super cooling, and it helps as the weather in phuket is scorching hot (at least to me)... the room is huge... we had an indoor and outdoor shower... im really glad tt we booked this hotel, thou it was on a last minute decision.
it's only 5 mins walk to the beach and the moment you stepped out from the hotel, you are greeted with all the bars, the food place.. great choice!!
on the negative note thou, you will know if the person staying beside your room is smoking as it is connected, thus the smoke will travel to your room. and do bring ur insect repellent... coz i left with huge mozzie bumps... n course, we usually return to our rooms late night, and it can b quite scary esp if you are afraid walking in a very poor dimly lit pavement... o
so yea.. no regrets thou.. staff is friendly, nothing exceptional abt the service...

large hotel, located just round the corner from the beach. we booked a seaview room, which was just about viewable if you looked hard enough!! good size room , plenty of activities available and an excellent breakfast.

这个酒店性价比超低！我们在Deluxe Lagoon住了9天，房间设施确实老旧，那个橙色的沙发椅上面很多黑渍！因为住的时间长，所以充分体会了这里所谓的四星级服务！对三点非常不满意：
、还有一点让人很不爽，就是被子和枕头永远都是潮乎乎的，枕头还有一股没干透的馊味。
、在这个酒店里除了洗澡他不收费，其他干什么他都收费，打个免费电话他也收你，上网也收费，酒店收这么多费，服务该升级点吧，结果你还得给服务生小费，没有小费人家还不高兴，服务就给你降级。
强烈非常不推荐！
Deluxe Lagoon is not deserved its price! all the equipment are old, for example there are many dirty points on the couch. The pillows and covers on the bed are always damp. The attitude of the service depends on the amount of the tips that given by you. They charge everything from you.Even you made a free call using their telephon, they charge also from you.
I really do not recommend this hotel!
Restaurant Tip:
everything in Karon beach is more expensive than other beach!The restaurants along the beach are the most expensive. Go to the other direction which a little far away from the beach. The restaurants there are more cheaper and good.

I have to say that the hotel is one of the better values in Karon Beach. We wanted to stay at the Movenpick and it was sold out so we settled for Centara. While booking, I had to do a double take since the Terrace rooms were only $60, the price for a good dinner! As other reviewers have said, the rooms are on the small side and we ran into a few ants on our desk. Not a big deal for only. Now if I were paying a normal, then it wouldn't be acceptable. Rooms are fairly priced.
The hotel offers quite a few activities. There is a tennis court, 3 pools, a good fitness room with Life Fitness machines. There is also a foosball and pool table.
Breakfast did its job in that it filled your stomach, but not much else. It was a few steps below a Denny's without a lot of taste.
I would definitely recommend the hotel. Just temper your expectations.

it was very good hotel, splendid view, excellent food. it is rather quite place where you can really relax and have a rest with your family. also a lot of sport activities that you can enjoy, you really feel that hotel management takes care about you, we have only one remark - cleaning service, it was really poor ... anyway, i will recommend this hotel to my friends ...
