Lovely hotel steps from Kata Beach

staff were friendly and prompt at check in.
occupancy was rather high perhaps due to the cash for credit deal that this hotel practices.
cons - bed was very hard. hand-held shower only. rude lady staff at breakfast and rather limited selection at brekkie.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Kata Beach is within walking distance. Hotel provides morning shuttle service to the beach. Club Med Kata stands in the middle of the hotel and the beach. Less maddening crowds and less hassling by vendors when compared to Patong beach. Lots of massage places dot the main road.

This is a very large hotel complex that is in many ways very family-friendly - there is an excellent creche, rooms are well laid-out and well equipped (some have cooking facilities). However, there is an element of Phuket sleaze here too. The main pool has an in-pool bar that pumps out all the worst European summer hits of years gone by. On the day I arrived it was full of loud drunk German men dancing the Macarena. The main restaurant is overpriced and the quality of the food is questionable. I ordered "fresh" pineapple juice and received canned juice with two lumps of pineapple in it. Hmmm. At least the rooms are good. The decor isn't fantastic (mine had a disconcertingly bright red feature wall) but they are very clean and spacious and are in excellent condition overall.

Good location in Kata, with easy walk to restaurants and shops. Originally booked 3 nights and ended up staying 6 due to fantastic internet rate thru Agoda. Four star hotel amenities, very clean and well maintained hotel. Staff are very friendly and most speak english well and seem to enjoy chatting with guests. Internet rates seem high at first but if you buy a 24 hr plan it is valid for 2 weeks so it is really reasonable over the time period. Hotel offers more TV channels than other hotels. Spa is fantastic and compared to other hotel spas in Kata, Cenvaree prices are less expensive and you are assured of a certified therapist in a very clean environment. Daily breakfast offers a great variety of items including made to order eggs/omelets. Centara Kata has three pools, one which is ideal for kids. If you want less noise, choose the pool near the spa and enjoy spa music and tranquil water fountains while you are swimming and suntanning. This is a very popular resort for families and european tour groups and I can imagine it is very busy during high season. A note to parents. If bringing a stroller, be advised there are no lifts on the property so you should book a ground floor room otherwise you will be carrying the stroller up/down stairs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The best beach in Phuket is at Nai Harn beach, about 15 minutes south of Centara Kata. It is well worth the 400 bht taxi ride (or hire a car/bike). Very few people, no boats or jet skis, squeaky sand very clear water. Other beaches tend to be polluted and overcrowded but Nai Harn is gorgeous. For 100 bht you can rent a sunlounger for the day with umbrella and there are places to buy drinks and food as well. If you want a sit down lunch overlooking the gorgeous Nai Harn bay have a salad or sandwich at All Seasons Resort or enjoy outdoor dining at the posh Royal Phuket Yacht Club.
When you have had your fill of Thai food, try Two Chefs Restaurants. Three locations in Kata and Karon Beaches. Great service, delicious wine and yummy food.

Correct pour le prix rien d extraordinaire
Trois piscines ca laisse le choix et on est pas les uns sur les autres meme si ca manque un peu de transats

sejour agreable ni plus ni moins, ma chambre donnait qd meme sur la route et en dessous d un pub avec concert c etait pas toujours hyper tranquille apres tout faut l savoir.
Travel tip:
hotel qui accueille plutot des familles par contre pas d ascenseurs alors pour ceux qui sont au troisieme etage c est pas top avec la poussette et les affaires, de plus reserver bien a l avance votre lecteur dvd car c est en fonction de la disponibilite... j en avais besoin pour bosser mon niveau de plongee j ai du m en passer il leur a fallu trois jours pour m en trouver un mais c etait trop tard, enfin rien de bien grave car c est les vacances.

가격대비 리조트의 전반시설이 만족스럽습니다.
수영장이 아가들 놀기 딱 좋아요.
다만 와이파이제공이 되지 않는점은 몬가 시대에 뒤떨어진다는 느낌.
그리고 흡연방도 좀 제공을 해주십사..
참. 풀쪽 스탭들은 친절한데 로비쪽 스탭들은 친절교육을 다시 받아야할듯합니다.

到达前台后，服务员帮忙提行李。前台人员很热情，对预定的房间一一做确认。check in后，前台人员亲自搭乘酒店的shuttle送我们到住宿大楼，亲自送到房间，告诉我们房间的布局、设施的使用，还给了优惠券。下雨的时候，还在前台接到了雨伞，退房很快，一个电话打到客房部就搞定了，相当满意，还想再去！
Hotel Feature Tip:
酒店位于最安静的卡塔海滩，非常适合休闲度假的游客，酒店很大，游泳池、spa、餐厅都非常不错。出酒店不行不到十分钟就是卡塔海滩，放然，酒店有免费的shuttle开往海滩。晚上出酒店可以逛逛附近的小店，其实也不错，远离喧嚣。

位于kata海滩，在大部分的地图上都没有标，没有gps还真的很难找到。
但从进酒店的那一刻起，每一个细节都体现出四星级酒店应有的素质，虽然没有什么特别大的亮点，但也没有明显的缺点。所有客房都围绕着泳池，要下去游泳非常方便。
Hotel Feature Tip:
酒店的wifi需要购买，1小时200B，如果住得久，倒是可以买多点的package，较为划算。
