Upon arrival we were shown into the beautiful reception are, nicely air-conned and presented with a complimentary welcome drink. Check-in was reasonably efficient but we received the response (take it up with your travel agent) when I enquired why we had received no complimentary airport transfer, similar answer when we were leaving, apparently Club Andanman only supply this free service, when you book directly with them. On our last day in the resort, housekeeping removed the key tag which was left in the power master switch, to keep power in the room and thus keep the room air-conned. When we returned from a hot day on the beach, the room was sweltering and it took an hour to get the tag returned!! Service generally was OK, however language problems were evident and I feel that this is an area that could be improved. Internet access at 150 Baht for 1 hour / 30 days is readily available but the wireless network connection is erratic and weak. We probably would return to this hotel as overall it's a good package and the location was good.

Well located for shopping and nightlife Good facilities ideal for families Excellent breakfast Comfortable room with good a/c

Looking a little run down, needs more maintenance Staff quite slow service Considering this hotel welcomes international travellers, language proficiency should be better

  • Restaurant Tip : Eat out, try Rock City just outside the hotel, excellent Hard Rock Cafe style food, and cheap!

I found this nice to stay at. The rates were fairly high though for Thailand. There were some aspects that were 4star plus like the greeting, and check in, but the lack of English made it hard for anything out of the ordinary. The location was perfect, it was 10 minutes walk from the bars so not too loud at night but you could stumble home after the bar. The room needs to be refinished to classify this as a 4 star, moldy caulking, etc. I only ate in the hotel once as there was plenty of dining nearby and the food was okay. The pool closes at the ridiculous hour of 7 PM. I will probably look for a different hotel next time because of the price.

This hotel was in a great location in the Patong area.

The staff did not speak much English which made it hard to communicate any needs or wants.

  • Nightlife Tip : Just walk to where you need to go.

Close to nightlife, shopping, eating etc. 10 minutes away from bar scene so quiet. The tours are on the other side of the island though so that is a bit of a pain. The garden area was very nice, but the pool closes at 7PM way to early. It was a nice stay, but you pay Club prices and I didn't see anything to warrant the extra cost.

Close to everything but the tours

Very Little English, it took me about 20 minutes to communicate that I wanted to stay another night.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Don't use the hotel taxi as it costs 50% more. Just walk 50 meters to the street and get a cab that way.

not happy this was our 4th time staying there. Guest Rating: 3.0

the staff are great . but unfortunately they have leased some of the outside properties to loud noisy club which plays music till 2 o`clock in the morning so were unable to get much sleep.

the balcony rails are rotting and need replacing. the toilet needs are good cleaning around the hinges and the tiles surronding the area. al so the shower curtin was mouldy.

Close to the beach

Noise from Club Lime at 2 am in the morning can be easily heard from room 506 at this hotel even though the room is more than 200 meters from the club and on the fifth floor of the hotel. According to the assistant manager at the hotel named Samart Chankanin, his hotel has known about this problem for more than 1 year, but has not been able to get the local police to fix this problem or sue the owner of the club effectively in order for guests staying at the hotel to be able to sleep well at the hotel and get what they are paying the hotel for. Also, when complaining to the manager on the night shift at the hotel, I was told that this noise problem is not the hotel's problem to solve. In the end, after having enough, I visited the club to ask its front desk staff to lower its music, was refused, and shortly thereafter got punched in the face by a member of its so-called security staff who also broke part of my cell phone. Interestingly enough, this hotel somehow managed to get an ISO accreditation that it definitely does not deserve and should be taken away.

This was a revisit, I stayed at the hotel 20 years ago, when they only had the bungalows. Back then all cottages where detached. So I was a bit dissapointed to find a complete village of closely constructed, semidetached (two- or three units together)units. Good point was, they were adjacent to the pool area, so no need to get dressed if you wanted to get something from your room. As I had my family with me, we booked two rooms, and found the rooms had a connecting door. Unfortunately, one of the rooms had a ant infestation which lasted throughout our stay. Minor point of critic would be the hardness of the double bed. The single beds were ok. The location of the hotel is excellent, on a quiet part of Phuket, but on walking distance from where the action is, if that is what you're after. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive, allthough the numbers of tables seemed on occasion to be insufficient. On our last day it looked like a new food & beverage manager joined, so maybe he can solve this problem. Considering all things, would deffinitely come back here.

Nice swimmingpools, location opposite the beach, landscaped garden

not allowed to swim in the pools after 1900

  • Travel tip : Be careful with the sea during the monsoon season (may through october). The waves are fun to play in, but when loosing your footing, it is easy to be taken out to deeper water.

We had a wonderful stay at this very beautiful resort. We stayed at the Lotus Cottages and the scenery was absolutely fabulous. Every night the toads sang an evening chorus. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You can eat in the open air restaurant and there is entertainment most nights...very tasteful. The beach is a short stroll through the lovely surrounding gardens and past a wonderul swimming pool. Heaven...we will return. Value for money and great for couples or families - I highly recommend this hotel as it caters for all.

Lotus Village Cottage and wonderful gardens.

Staff just a little too attentive at dinner - felt rushed.

  • Restaurant Tip : Staff a little keen and felt rushed at times. Only happened at dinner.

The hotel had an excellent dining area overlooking the gardens which was lovely. It is on the beachfront and has two pools. Being located in the middle of Patong Beach it is certainly the place to be located.

  • Nightlife Tip : Patong Beach is the most built up area to be located in Phuket. Be careful not to book a hotel which is located miles away from Patong if you do not want to have to eat all meals at your hotel. Some hotels offer limited transport options to town and return at inflated prices.
