What I like the most from this hotel is the location and the pools. It's very near to the beach. Actually the beach is just across the road from the pool.
The pools were nice.
The bathroom design is uncomfortable because they put clear glass on one corner from the bath tub. They put wooden curtain to cover it but it can be easily pulled up so people can see you through.
I stayed there with my husband, my 2yo old daughter and a 4yo niece. The kids are so happy with the pool. The water was warm because the pools are in open area, fully exposed to the sun. We had fun there. One time we played at the pool then walked across the road to play at the beach for a while then go back to the pool.
We had to literally pulled out the kids from the pool because they just didn't want to leave.

Good breakfast buffet, multitude of swimming pools, spa, fitness gym...
Guest averse, expensive internet charge, expensive laundry, mosquitos due to large pond outside, yellowish water in bath tub, furniture not so great. AC filters need cleaning.
Being a single traveller, I was greatly disappointed with this hotel. the Air Conditioning system in both my room and my friend's room emitted a mouldy smell. I guess the AC filters haven't been checked for a long time. More disturbing was the fact that the water in the toilet had a yellow aspect. My room overlooked the pond in the garden outside, this explained the mosquito bites on my body. This hotel is totally family oriented, the large lawn areas and the many activities offered on site are ideal for families. Single travellers looking to enjoy the nightlife beware, the nightlife venues are a 20 minute walk away. It doesn't help to mention that it costs 200B for a tuktuk to merely switch the motor on. So, be ready to walk.

The Club Andaman Resort was in a good location as the back entrance to the resort opened up on the main beach street.
the hotel itself was quite dated though and could stand some upgrades. We stayed in the room they called the Balcony room and expected to had a nice balcony. This was not the case as the balcony was small and only had 2 plastic chairs.
the breakfast buffet was just OK. I think for the money they charged for the room, you could do much better.
Restaurant Tip : Recommend eating at both "The Orchids" restaurant and the Sea Hag restaurant. Very good local Thai food and not much cost.

Non Halal Breakfast..bit old building
Not as good as i thought..But in that price i couldnt have asked for anything better.Certainly not a 5 star resort in btw 3-4..Rooms were nice..and they were kind enough to upgrade me to Andaman Delux room..though i booked Andaman Room..Location was great walking distance to the beach and all the happning places of Patong..Bt they should renovate the buliding and paint it..overall not disappoint i am a regulalr travler to phuket..If i get the same price i wont mind staying there again..

first impressions are: stunning! high ornate ceilings and wonderful greeting from staff (cold drink and wipes). pool area a perfect place to laze the day away. extensive food and cocktail menu at reasonable prices. location central but not right next to bangla road
babysitting service only available till 6pm (not recommended if you want a night out) and lack of airconditioning in lobby area and lounge bar. also only 1 room key provided which is inserted into wall to power the room so when you leave the room all power is cut including air conditioning. not great when you return from the intense heat outside! although it cools down fairly quick.
very much enjoyed my stay at the club andaman. beautiful resort, the grounds were very well maintained. stayed there as i was attending a wedding held at the resort that was perfect and great value for money. staff were very helpful and courteous. located close enough to enjoy patong nightlife but not so close that you hear all the comings and goings from bangla.
Restaurant Tip : club lime (located at beach side of resort) was fantastic. the food was fantastic and as it was low season during my visit there was 25% off all food and drinks

Freindly and nice staff.
Good Breakfast
Andaman Cottages fixtures too old. Aircondition not working well.
We initially booked at the andaman cottage because we thought it would nice for a change to stay outside of the hotel premesis. We were so disappointed because the location of the cottage was quite far, seems like to other occupants nearby, the fixtures were quite old, the comfort room not well lighted, and airconditioning not working well. We asked to be transfered to another cottage they call "lotus" . However it turned out that the location is the only thing good. It is the same as the previous cottage, old fixtures, comfort room not well ligthed, air conditionining not working well. We ended up asking to be transfered to a balcony room in the hotel premises. This is more expensive than the andaman cottage but less expensive than the lotus cottage. The furnitures and beds are at a lot better so is the comfort room and the air conditioning. It was an awful feeling transfering to 3 rooms in a day. The only consolation is that the staff are so accomodating and helpful even in their limited English language knowledge.
The breakfast is so good, plenty of food choices.

Nice Room, Great balcony, nice staff, food, etc.
The in room refrigerator could have been a little bigger
We enjoyed the room a lot more than others would have because we opted to upgrade to the Balcony, Great view of the hotel and ocean, My wife actually saw the "Green Flash" at sunset. The hallways were a little worked, but once we opended the door to the room, we were very happy. Staff was helpful and very nice. Great overall experience and we would rather stay there again than any other place.
Shopping Tip : After Dinning you can walk up the beach instead of the sidewalk , much more pleasant

Excellent Location, fantastic Hotel
We stayed at Club Andaman Resort for 4 nights in June 2009. I can't fault this hotel. Breakfast has lots of variety, gardens are gorgeous and the 2 pools are absolutely fantastic. We stayed in the Andaman Cottages a 1 minute or less walk and you are at the pool. They probably are a little outdated especially the bathrooms in the cottages, but I would definitely recommend and stay at this resort again. Walk out near the pool and you have the beach road and beach straight across. Close to everything. We also experienced no noise from the nightclub called Clublime outside resort on main road. I notice on a few reviews as a complaint. Absolutely fantastic
Nightlife Tip : Bangla Road Blue Lotus Bar small and intimate but great people working there and a perfect location to see all that is happening around you. Also the Aussie Bar is good, and Scruffy Murphy's has air conditioning, the are all on Bangla Road near each other

received a nice welcome and a relaxed and easy check in.Remembered us from a previous stay, but i guess that came from their database.Excellent buffet breakfast in a beautiful surrounding looking across the well kept gardens and pools.
The corridors could be a little gloomy needing extra lighting. Also birds are able to fly through the breakfast area and help themselves to your food if you leave your seat for any reason!.
When we wanted to use the pool, the staff would only hand out 1 towel per guest, even though the the hotel was relatively empty at the time. Also the resident band were playing every night directly below our room and finished at around midnight.
On the whole a good hotel with helpful friendly staff, this being our second visit so i must like it.The gardens are a nice feature here and are beautifully maintained. The two pools are clean and safe with one being especially child friendly. The buffet breakfast is probably the best in Patong with a huge selection to suit the multi-cultural clientelle. The rear of the hotel is also convenient for the beach just across the road. Also security is important here with guards in place at all times, mostly to keep the guests facilities for the guests, as it is easy just to walk in from the beach road.
Nightlife Tip : This hotel is within easy walking distance to all the shopping and entertainment you would associate with when staying in Patong.

Close to the beach. Close to shopping and restaurants. Overall lush grounds of the property and pool area were nice.
On the other end of the main strip which meant that I had to walk quite a bit to get to the more populated area. Was not as central as I would have preferred.
The overall hotel was quite nice. As the location was fairly quiet, I would recommend this one for couples or families. The staff were very pleasant, however if you are allergic to cats, like I am, you may want to reconsider as there were many cats around every day, particularly in the dining areas of the hotel. Overall for the money, I think this hotel had pretty good value. As it's one of the first hotels on the strip, when coming in from the airport it would be one of the first stops on the van, which was nice and the last stop on the way to the hotel, which again is a benefit.
Nightlife Tip : If you are looking for a lot of night life, this is not the perfect location. While there was a night club very close to the hotel, I didn't find it to be very busy compared to the other side of the strip which was quite busy.

Great location - near to the beach as well as to restaurants, shopping and the night life. It had a relaxed feel and excellent massages.
Some of the service was a little slow and disorganised. The English of some staff was not always strong.
Overall it suited our group who ranged from 16 to 60. It was relaxed and the spacious grounds had a soothing feel. The food was good, the rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were obliging. I particularly liked the easy access to the beach. Breakfast was good and had plenty of variety. For those who wish to eat at the hotel, and the choice outside is excellent and not to be missed, the standard of meals was quite good. It is not the most glamorous hotel in Patong these days but is excellent value for money.

Good location, great value for money, large rooms with good amenities
Service was sometimes a little slow and staff's english skills were variable
A great location for a family holiday...it was enjoyed by both the young and not so young. Hotel had great facilities and is in a very good location. Easy walking distance to most of Patong's attractions but still quiet and serene if that is what you are looking for. Staff's english skills were variable but that made for some great laugh's more times than not. Overall, the hotel was very satisfying and we would return again.
Shopping Tip : Head towards the more out of the way locations for good bargins

The stay was great the staff are very helpful the gardens and pool area are fantastic. Breakfast was excellent each morning and was a great way to start the day. Located across the road from the beach and a short walk to a large array of shops and resturants. Will stay there again on my next visit to Phuket

Location, location and location. Excellent pool (area) and gardens, great breakfast buffet. Large room. Across the street from the beautifull beach. There is always a bar with an happy hour
We hate any hotel with old fashionned DoorKey although there was a free room-safe. The evening buffet was disappointing, maybe since we started at 20:00 (long before closing time) and it was almost over.
The location is excellent: across the beachroad, great beach, great hotel pool(area). We were pleased to be recognized as a returning guest (the room was decorated with flowers all over. We hate flowers). The room is big, 3 chairs and a table, fridge, fruit, coffee maker and paid Internet (I hate the charge). Witin minutes walking is anything you like / hate. A hotel to go back to.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a car and drive around the island
