Doesn't live up to expectations

Many better options than this hotel. Service (with a few staff exceptions) was extremely poor. Room not cleaned, faulty wash basin and shower, food not hot ( and refused to reheated by chef), no-one to help with luggage - we had to carry our own bags up and down two flights of stairs. My advice? Forget Club Bamboo.

We had a bungalow close to the "lake", and just behind there is a noisy water pump or something, that is making a lot of noise whole night, so earplugs are a must. Doesnt bother that the hotel is far from the city, they have transportation. The stuff is speaking good english, Im impressed. Breakfast didn't taste like much, but it'll fill up your stomack. Pool area and surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Bed was very hard but didn't bother me.

my friends & i stayed there for 5 nights. it was an ok hotel. the room was exactly the same as the their photo. there was a balcony but the view was not pleasant. we asked twice to change room but was twice declined. our room have good wifi, but my friends room is very slow plus we toilet doesn't flush.quite far from patong beach and we need to take taxi every time we need to go to the beach or bangla st or the mall.
all in all, an ok stay..

prices are marked up twice so you better bargain everytime you buy anything-including tours

Huge rooms, spacious balcony, bath tub, hot water, comfy and huge and spacious bed. Hotel is not so far out from the beach. Probably a 15 minute walk to the beach. Awesome and friendly staffs working. Had a shuttle however intervals a little too far apart. Other than that it was an awesome stay and experience staying there. Will definitely come back to this hotel whenever holiday is in phuket!

One of the best finds in the area

this place was suggested by one of our friends about being an amazing resort to stay in. and, we were not disappointed because it had lived up to its reputation. we couldn't make use of all the health/fitness facilities that the hotel boasts of and are generally acclaimed, but the overall feel of the place was just out-of-the-world. the staff was courteous. we had faced an issue with the ac not working fine. but the management sent a guy immediately to get it to fix. the pool enclosed in the hotel is very elegantly designed. looks more like an amusement park pool than a traditionally designed one. just by the pool, they have their restaurant which served oh-my-god amazing food, i fell in love with thai spices.

we had booked for a deluxe jacuzzi room, which was not available on the date we booked due to some in-house guests staying back. the management upgraded me to penthouse suite ( which had a jacuzzi ). the decor of the room just blew me away. it was very delicately decorated and just exuded luxury. the design of the total resort which was built on three or four levels an an uneven hill, is very classy. the swimming pool was small but comfortable for us. the in-room service was great. we used a hair dryer and a 3pin-2pin converter for my laptop. they take a deposit, which is refundable on returning the items and checking out. the only minor complaint we had was that the hotel is little away from patong beach. we had to walk up the whole distance, as we did not want to rent a bike for a single drive. the jacuzzi in the suite was one of the best experiences i had ever. 5 stars to this stay!

Didn't have a chance to experience this hotel's features and staff performance, cuz had to leave right after the tsunami alert on 11 April. The staff is unaware of anything happenning in Patong, and left before all the guests after the siren without notifying. The door lock was not repaired in 3 hrs after checking in, but that's just a minor pitfall compared to total ignorance of the tourists' lives...

This hotel is good value for money. The rooms were a bit dated but they were clean and large. The wifi only worked at reception. The swimming pool was nice but didn't look as it does in the pictures, not great for sunbathing as there are trees all around it blocking the sun. Breakfast was 200baht for an all you can eat buffet, so great value for money. Overall we enjoyed our stay and couldn't complain for the price we payed.
